I am suffering from a loss of hearing since October 20, 2010. What is the best medicine a person can take who is suffering from loss of hearing? ## I have been suffering from a left ear tinnitus problem for the past 6 months. Please tell me what medicine to take? ## Nick, I am not aware of medicine or food consumption that would make any hearing cause or correction. It is probably just a physical alteration, like worn out muscles as we grow older, unless you were born that way. It might help to keep the wax out of your ears. That is easier with a hearing evaluation to clean them for you. I was afraid to puncture my eardrums with cotton swabs. That can press the wax further in. The hearing evaluation I had (Professional Hearing Services 511 Renaissance Dr, St Joseph, MI) had a precise me...

diacereina 25 mg is the drug I am researching .What type of drug is it? Is it over the counter? Is it a vitamine? ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. Based on my limited findings, Diacereina is also known as Diacerein; (a name which may help provide more search options for your research). Meloxicam also appears to be related to this medication; quite possibly the U.S. brand name for it, but I haven't found info to prove this. What medicine treats CPK levels? I have a high level of creatine in my legs (501). Please let me know what medicine would treat this condition? ## That is a systemic level, which means throughout your entire body, not just your legs, though you may primarily be feeling any effects in your legs. Normal levels are 10 to 120 mcg/L, so 501 is, indeed very high. Generally, high creatine levels occur due to some sort of muscle injury, such as a heart attack, stroke, pulmonary infarction, myopathy, brain injury, myocarditis, and etc. Thus, lowering your levels is dependent upon treating the relevant condition that has caused it to be high, so there isn't any one specific medication that can be recommended for you. What action has your doctor advised?

amlodipine issued dec 8,2009 is it expired already? atorvastatin issued sept 16, 2010 is it expired already ## If you received them from a pharmacy, in the type of bottles that the pharmacy's use, then the expiration date is generally one year from the date it was dispensed. Thus, if they filled the Amlodipine on 12/08/09, the expiration would have been 12/07/10. Atorvastatin filled 09/16/10 would have en expiration of 09/15/11. They do not get dangerous after that date, but they do start to lose effectiveness and may not work as well at treating the relevant medical conditions.
