I've been taking lisinopril, lupin 20 mg. for a number of years My last rx was refilled recently and the pharmacy substituted it with actavis 20 mg. With the lupin, my b.p. readings were always good. With the actavis my b.p.is elavated. I have also experienced a terrible rash and intermittent hives. Could the change in meds have caused this? Yesterday I was prescribed verapamil. (haven't started to take it yet). The pharmacy has filled the prescription with verapamil-ER 120 mg MYLAN.
