Zapiz or encorate which one is best medicine for treating epilepsy ## Hello, Anita! How are you? It really depends on which one works best for the patient that has epilepsy. Not all medications work for everyone that tries them. For example, the first one my husband tried to prevent seizures caused a severe change of personality, so though it did control his seizures, he had to stop taking it and try a different medication. Which medication has the patient's doctor recommended? Most anticonvulsants may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness and weight changes, as reportedly the U.S. FDA. ## What is the difference between Zapiz and Lopez? Do they work the same way or differently? ## I m taking zepiz o.25 for panic disorder for last 10 years can l countinu

I have a small prolapse of the valve in the left chamber of my heart and it is very uncomfortable with an extra sistole. I am on Hexarone 100mg in the morning and 50mg evening. My blood pressure stays at 147/80 and sometimes even higher. After the 9th tablet the docter tried I am now on Irbewin 150 one morning, one evening. Still the upper reading doesn't come down. Is there perhaps a solution? I am very worried, please help. First appointment with physician 15 Januarie 2014. ## Hello, Anita! How are you? I just got my refill for Losartan with 113 on one and S on the other side, so I'm wondering if this is the right one? My pills are usually green and oval shaped. ## Anita, I can confirm that a white round pill with the imprint 113 HH is Losartan Potassium 100 mg. (NDC code 16571-502). Although I am a bit confused because in your message you are also saying that your refill contained pills with the imprint 113 S which also happens to be another brand of Losartan Potassium 100 mg (NDC code 43547-362). It is common to see the same generic drug manufactured by many different companies, thereby taking different appearances. Can you please share any other details? Which pills did in fact appear in your refill? The ones described in the title of this page, or in your message?

I just moved here from Las Vegas I switched my insurance over and I need to find a doctor that prescribes adderall for me near Oceanside or temecula help please ! ## Did you end up finding a dr? Let me know thanks! Anita ## Did you end up finding a dr that prescribes adderrall? Let me know thanks! ## If you contact a doctor's office and ask them specifically about prescribing Adderall, you will likely not have any luck, due to the fact that many will view that as being drug seeking behavior. What you really need to do is just find a new doctor, make sure they receive a full copy of your recent medical records, and then discuss it with them, at your first appointment. Since it carries the risk of being habit forming, it is best to be careful when finding a new doctor. Viewing your re...

I have been on Warfarin for 3 years with no known problems. I want to consume diatomaceous earth and can't find anything saying if it is o.k. to do so. ## Hi Anita, Although I can't seem to find any specific details on interactions with Diatomaceous Earth, it is regarded as a non-toxic, safe substance made up from fossils of freshwater organisms. In my opinion it should be fine to incorporate with a prescription drug, but you may want to feel more assured by talking to your doctor. Have you taken this supplement in the past with any success? ## No. I have never taken it but have been reading a lot of positive information on it. I wonder if anyone else here might have used it with success.

what for ## Paradol can be a couple of possbilities. In Tunisia, for example, it is a brand of medication containing the active ingredient Paracetamol, which is an over the counter pain reliever. However, it can also refer to the active flavor constituent of the seeds of Guinea pepper (also known as Grains of paradise). Anecdotally it is said to have antioxidative and antitumor promoting effects. So the question now is which Paradol you are referring to? The pharmaceutical medication, or the herbal remedy? I found this little round blue pill, it's coated blue and white inside and damaged. no back marking unless it was scratched off? and isn't flat, more bubbled I guess and has a black printed H on one side no other markings, would like to know what it is, thanks. ## Hi Anita, THe closest match I've been able to find is Hytrin (terazosin) 10 mg; which belongs to the drug class antiadrenergic agents (peripherally acting) and is used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, high blood pressure, and hyperhidrosis. It is a shiny round blue pill- that appears to be coated like you mentioned- and has the imprint HN in black letters on one side and a lower case "a" logo on the back. It's very possible that the other letters got smudged off at some point since you s...

I am taking multiple medicines for my hypertension. 10mg lisinopril, 50 mg Metroprolol XR and Chlorthalidone 25 mg. In the afternoons, I get very dizzy, have mild chest pain and I have spaced the doses out to determine that it is the Chlorthalidone that is the cause. My cholesterol has also shot up after taking Metroprolol & Chlorthalidone for 4 months. My doctor says it is fine to just stop the Chlorthalidone but I am worried about rebounding edema. I am a 54 year old female. I'm thinking maybe it would be better to wean by skipping one day, then 2 days, then 3 days until I see how I react since this medicine remains in your system so long. i have b taken for 2 week and my belly look like i going to blow out ## Hello Anita! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Metformin, which the FDA classifies as an oral anti-diabetic medication. Bloating is listed as a normal side effect of this medication, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence and hypoglycemia. However, the good news is that side effects tend to be transient and go away, after your body gets used to the medication. You should see an improvement in about 2 more weeks, if not, please consult your doctor. My 87 year old mom is staying with me at Christmas. I have LASIK and potassium that are supposed to be given 20mg and 10 mg respectively. Can I half the dose? ## Hello, Anita! How are you? Yes, as long as tablet, such as the Lasix isn't time released or marked that you shouldn't cut, break or chew it, it is okay to do so, but you should always make sure to check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. The potassium, however, is one of those that is usually marked not to be broken, cut, crushed or etc. It can cause severe irritation of the stomach if that is done, so it needs to be taken whole. Is there anything else I can help with?

How can you tell if a .05 mg of larazepam is extended release vs. non extended release? ## Hi Anita, Based on my research, Lorazepam is not available in extended-release form so you shouldn't have anything to worry about in that regard. :) Although, in the event that something might be extended release, you could always just look up the imprint on the tablet to determine those details. (That is of course provided that you obtained it from a legitimate pharmacy and has a marking for identification?). I hope this helps!
