What Is The Tablet Inside Omeprazole Capsule

I opened a 20milligram capsule and found it contained a buff coloured tablet with no markings on it...this cant be right as i thought it should contain powder ## There are some on the market that do contain a tablet, inside a capsule to make it easier to swallow and cause it to have less effect on people who are already suffering from GERD. What are the markings on the outer capsule? I can gladly double check the information for you.

its a white capsule, it says OME on the side of it with the number 20 below it. inside the capsule are small very small oval shaped pinkish beads. ## what is OME used for? ## This contains 20mgs of Omeprazole, a generic for Prilosec, this is used to treat conditions such as heartburn and GERD. Generic omeprazole by Dr Reddy and Mylan worked fine for me. Sandoz omeprazole gave me a chronic sore throat. ## we purchased 40 mg omeprazole from CVS pharmacy. the blue bottle had a Mylan logo and a microdisplay pill picture of blue/green tablet with 5222 on the label. inside the bottle was a tan/white capsule marked "OME 40". This is a Sandoz mark for omeprazole. These pills were ineffective and sore throat with esphogeal effects unchanged. later real 40 mg Mylan 5222 from Rite Aid worked perfectly. what are literature citations regarding CVS practice and quality for the Sandoz product.
