What Is The Strongest Drug For Chronic Pain

I'm a chronic pain patient who is wheelchair-bound due to the pain after a gunshot and I have just been increased from 20mg of Oxycodone. I was taking the NP 14 20mg and was increased to the 30mg Oxycodones; so what color of the 30mg's Oxycodones are the strongest or what number or imprint is the strongest? I was issued the 30mg Oxycodone with 30 on one side and RP on the other which is not helping as I thought it was, therefore I would like some information on what pill would be more beneficial for pain relief... The 30mg RP's that I was dispensed don't seem to be as strong as the 20's. Can someone tell me why that is or am I just tripping, or is this pill just of a lesser quality than the other 30's? Thanks in advance. ## The colors don't actually mean anyt...

I have chronic back pain and have had it for 30 years. The only alternative for living a decent quality of life is by taking an opiate. I've had several surgeries and all Dr.s I;ve conferred with has stated that is no longet an option. I now take methadone and have for 10yrs However, because I also have Hepatitis C and Chirosis of the liver my opiate must be very strong to help with the pain and not have "any" adultrants in it. To keep me from getting nausuated due to my liver. I've tried dilaudid and the also make me nausueated, both name brand and generic. Anyone know what kind of a clean, strond opiate medication the Dr. Can perscribe for me.Please send any ideals to me at [email protected] [1] Sincerely and thanks, capellastar [1] Editor's note - In order to protec...

I have tried the oxycodone 10/325 and they make me sick to my stomach. I have been on the Hydrocodone for 8 yrs and they are not working anymore. I am allowed 4 a day and the pain is not easing for me anymore. ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? I am very sorry about the problems you're having. And no, this is the strongest dosage available, now. Have you consulted your doctor? You may need to switch to a different medicate to regain pain control. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## hello tammy, Just ready read your questions pertaining to why your is not working like it used to. I to have been having the similar problems. My chronic pains stems back 40 y...

I've had severe chronic pain for years. Pain dr. Gave me 7.5/325 hydrocodone. I have hep c and chronic anemia. I don't want either tylenol or Ib.. what can I ask for that has none of those and is stronger? Would a fentanyl patch work? ## Hello, Andrea! How are you feeling? Fentanyl is the strongest narcotic available, so it may not be wise to jump straight to it, because that's not going to leave you anywhere to go in the future, once you build up a tolerance. Learn more Fentanyl details here. There are several others that are stronger and don't contain NSAIDs. One would be Oxycodone, which is available in instant release, regular release and time released formulations. Learn more Oxycodone details here. There's also Morphine, Dilaudid and Opana. I'm taking Norco 10/325 for chronic back pain. I've run out . Is there anything OTC that is strong enough to get rid of the pain. At least til my next refill ## Unfortunately no, the strongest thing available over the counter, in the U.S., is Aleve, which is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation. However, it is nowhere near as potent as the Hydrocodone in Norco and may not be safe for you to take. How often do you run out early? ## Thank u for ur reply Verwon. This was the first time...I'm moving and my back is worse than b,4. I took more so I can continue to do what I needed to do. ## I have been on norco 7.5 for a legitimate spinal injury. I see my doctor every...

all of the opiates are secretly being reduced. in drugs that are combined with aspirin Tylenol such as lortab the 7.5mg is no longer made, with doctors not even knowing this. it is the 5mg that is the strongest. the tylanol is not reduced. people in chronic severe pain will not get the relief they are expecting and take more not realizing the toxic effect Tylenol has on the liver. they are also reducing the amount of opiates a dr. can prescribe a month. when the unwinnable war on drugs turns torture and possible liver death we the people need to stand up and scream for the people in to much agony to fight. only 10% of people are junkies, which includes alcoholics.they are born with a chemical imbalance that drives them to abuse whatever substance or behavior. we need to take back our mon...

Looking for a doctor in Delaware/PA for pain management of severe migraine headaches who will prescribe oxycodone liquid. Have been to migraine clinics all over the country and tried Fentyl patch, Botox injections, triptan medications, morphine, diladid, with no relief for chronic dibiltating migraines. ## Has your doctor done any checking to see what's causing your migraines? The reason I'm asking is because Fentanyl is the strongest opiate available, so if it didn't help, it is unlikely that Oxycodone will help, regardless of the form its in. The FDA warns that opiate medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. I just don't see how that could be true the people who have told me this info are nit wits lol so somebody please help me thank you... ## Actually, you are correct, the letters or markings simply designate a different company and has nothing to do with the strength and efficacy of the tablets. Under federal law, each company that manufactures a prescription medication that is approved for sale...

sever back pai i have had it for 8 years i have three girls and i;m oh disabilty ## this is the strongest dose of a narcotic known as lortab, vicodin, and lorcet (all name brands.) they are extremely addictive as they are opiate narcotics. it is usually prescribed at the dose you have for moderate to severe pain. one has to be careful not to take too much or more than prescribed because it has a lot of acetaminophen or tylenol in it. too much can definantly cause irreversible liver damage. ## If you have chronic, severe pain, you should really be on a time release pain killer such as Oxycontin or MS Contin. The ones you are on are instant release pills which don't last more than 4 to 6 hours and in your case they should really only be used for breakthrough pain.

I am searching for information on how dilaudid compares with oxycodone ## white pill with m on front, no. 5771 ## For the first poster, Oxycodone is the strongest narcotic pain killer on the market that you can get in pill form. While Dilaudid is really a stronger medication, it is considered so dangerous that it is only available by prescription in a max of 10mgs, so for those who suffer chronic pain, the only option available in pill form to provide sufficient pain relief is Oxycodone. ## Gary, M 5771 is Methadone 10mgs, generic for Dolophine. The side effects for this are similar to those of other narcotics. ## Diladuid is not that strong once you get used to it. Whoever told you you can only get a script for 10 mg's at a time in not informed. I get180 4 mg. pills a month with 90...
