1 REPLY Filed under AspirinI have a green pill with L2 engraved on it. Is this a Laxative or an anti diarrhea medication? ## I found two small oval pills, light green with L2 engraved on one side, and a cut line on the other side. These were on the floor, and they aren't mine. I was wondering what they are so I may be able to find out who dropped them here, and then yell at them because I have a preschooler at home. :) ## Yes, you are correct, they are an anti-diarrheal tablet, a generic or store brand Imodium.
2 REPLIES Filed under Imodiumits small with nothing on the back except for a line down the middle and it has L2 on the other side. 1 REPLY Filed under LoperamideBright red pill marked L227 found twice in different M&M plain candy bags. Pretty upsetting don't you think? ## The pill in description is Acetaminophen (500 mg). Acetaminophen is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). That is very disturbing to know that drugs are being placed into M&M candy bags. Where did you find these bags at? Were they left over from Halloween perhaps? I've heard similar stories from people experiencing this around halloween or easter when people are more susceptible to open a bag without thinking twice about it. 1 REPLY Filed under LisinoprilI'm trying to verify what this pill is. Could it be Ativan from out of the U.S.? ## I haven't found a definitive match, but from what others have been posting, its possible that it could also be a 2mg Immodium Ad (Loperamide) tablet, being distributed from Hong Kong. One user's comment I saw actually mentioned that they bought a box of these over in Hong Kong (with that same description) and said that on the product packaging it noted that it was manufactured by Janssen Cilag; a large pharmaceutical company based in Val-De-Reuil, France. I wasn't able to delve much deeper than that because information was scarce, but you could always try contacting the manufacturer directly to see if it's something they might know about. I hope this helps!

1 REPLY Filed under Loperamidewhite, oblong pill with L 2 imprint and scored in middle on the back. Cannot find anything on various sites ## I don't have sufficient evidence to say for sure, but the pill might be ibuprofen made by Perrigo. It's oblong and white, and the imprint can easily be mistaken for 12 or l2. The tablet is not scored as you say, but it does have a hifen (dash) in-between the "l-2". There's also an antidiarrheal tablet (by the name of Loperamide) that fits your pill description more accurately as far as being an oblong pill that is scored on the back with "L2" on the front. But this pill is very pale green as opposed to white. Any thoughts on either of these being a match? ## avid - thanks for your input. Definitely is a deep score, definitely is a capital L not an I....
4 REPLIES Filed under IbuprofenThis pill is oval and only has a 51 imprint on it. It is white in the inside and has no other numbers but 51 no other imprint or anything. ## This may be a long shot, but there's a 200mg Ibuprofen tablet that's brownish-red and oblong with l2 on one side and blank on the other. If you hold it upside down it could appear similar to 5l, depending on the condition of the tablet? For verification, the National Drug Code is 49035-517 and it appears to be a product of Walmart. Perhaps you can contact your local pharmacy and/or poison control to see if this sounds like a possible match. Whereabouts did you get it from? ## How would a 5 look like a 2, even upside down? Seriously.... Type a "2", then turn your phone upside down and look at it. Does it look like a 5? ## David is c...
