What Is The Highest Dose Of Hydrocodone

Was told that a new hydrocodone that is 75mg. Does anyone have any in put on this? ## The highest dosage of Hydrocodone available in manufactured form is 10mgs coupled with Acetaminophen. There is a 7.5mg dosage, but no 75mg dose. Are there any other questions or comments?

I just got prescribed hydrocodone-acetaminophn 10-325 I have never felt like this b4 takin them, they make me sick and I can barely walk keep my eyes open stop throwing up or atleast have the sensation to throw up... I'm shaking and itchy everywhere is this a stronger form Perhaps idk what it is but I'm in pain and really do not want to take them someone of u can please inform me of the highest dosage an lowest so I can see if maybe they can just lower the dosage or what not-- thank you ## The ones you are taking do have the strongest dose of Hydrocodone in them, at 10mgs, but there are lower dosages available. There is one with 7.5mgs and one with just 5mgs. Have you contacted your doctor about this, yet? ## You may want to break them and only take half until you can discuss it...

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOWTHE HIGHEST DOSAGES FOR HYDRCOCONE/ACETAMINOPHEN? ## The highest dosage that is currently available contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen. However, the amount of Acetaminophen in all of these combination products is being lowered, due to a request by the FDA, due to the risk of liver failure or damage that can be associated with long-term use and the danger of overdose toxicity. They will all be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose. Hydrocodone is Great for pain after a root canal! ## Hi Bob, Glad to hear that the Hydrocodone is really helping your pain. From what I hear, the combination of Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen seems to be a common choice for many post operative dental procedures. I believe 10mg is also highest you can get for this particular medication, so I'm guessing the pain is probably pretty severe without this high of a dose. Oxycodone is the active ingredient in Oxycontin in a time released formulation, so which of those is stronger depends on the dosage, however, in theory the Oxycontin should be stronger, because the lowest dose of it available is 10mgs. The 30mg Hysingla ER is equivalent to 20mgs of Oxycodone, so of the three you've listed, this is the highest dose. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesic, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have been taking 325 mg of hydrocodone, only "as needed". A recent trip to hospital & Dr. there gave me a prescription for 15mg morphine. Which one is stronger? What is the highest dose of lartaps cuz i got 10s but it seems like it wasnt working then i got 7.5 then it kickedmme in the butt ## Lortab contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, while the Hydrocodone is a narcotic, there is a reason that Acetaminophen is also in them and part of that reason is due to the fact that it helps the narcotic work better. That said, how much Acetaminophen was in each of the tablets you took? ## You might also check to see if you were given percocet instead of lortab. Percocet sometimes works better for people than lortab though there are only slight differences. For me lortab works best. 10's are the highest.

I found a thick pink oblong pill with a fancy V on one side and 3600 on the other. I need to know what it is so I can take further action ## This contains Acetaminophen 500mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs, the highest dose in these you can get of Hydrocodone. It is a generic for Lortab among others. (NDC 0603-3888) When taking your action, if you found this on a child or teen, don't forget to make sure they know that not only is this dangerous and addictive, but it is also illegal to have if it isn't prescribed to you, and the police and government are really cracking down. I have read postings on some legal advice boards about youngsters getting caught with just 1 or 2 pills on them, and being arrested and prosecuted. I have been on 8mg Dilaudid and 80mg hydrocodone for about 4 yrs. My doctor now changed me to Hysingla (hope that's right spelling). Anyways, they are 80mg, but had to change back because they didn't work as well. Now he's telling me that between the 2, I'm taking like 12 times the amount of the highest does of morphine given out and is now sending me to a pain doctor.
