I've been taking percocet 7.5/350 mg. for 3 yrs. I was recently prescribed morphine 15mg-cr and I am not getting much pain relief from the morphine. I thought and was told morphine is stronger than percocet but I got more relief from the percocet than I do from the morphine. I of course plan on telling my dr. asap but was just woundering in the meantime. ## Actually, Oxycodone is one and half times stronger than Morphine, plus the Percocet also contained Acetaminophen, which helps the Oxycodone to work better. is there a difference between abg 15 and ms 15 morphine tablets? ## Hello, Erika! How are you? No, they have just been manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generics, it creates market competition to help keep prices lower. The one with the ABG marking is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and the one with the MS M 15 on it is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals, but both contain 15mgs of Morphine in an extended release formulation. The FDA classifies this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
