I'm going to get my script soon, ive been taking the Actavis brand (Walgreens) and I asked if my next refill it could be the Greenstone g3722. My dosage I'd 2mg. I has the Mylan xr but would say the ACTAVIS is better. Should I stick to Actavis or go for Greenstone? I haven't tried Sandoz nor Dava. ## Greenstone use to be best as they we're bought out by parent co.of Xanax but they dilluated the formula a few years ago. I have r039 yellow xanax 2mg bars and they do not taste bitter like the white greenstone ones. The taste is not completely bad. Also the g3722 do not do much for me besides getting me sleepy. However these yellow ones do make me feel better but the best ones are Pfizer Xanax, these yellow ones are somewhat sweet in taste. I have been on 2mg bars 4 times daily for over 5 yrs. When taken as prescribed it is the best. I have bipolar disorder and severe anxiety. Just ask doctor first and be willing to try other benzos cause one might work better for u. ## That is a huge habit. You are hooked. I am hooked. I'm not going to judge you at all. However what happens if you run out, or the doctor moves or stop practicing. Xanax is a wonder drug, but is very hard to stop, perhaps the hardest drug? You must experience it to know how lovely Alprazolam is on the way out. Getting back to you, 8 mg a day is a lot and so many here have lost their prescriber for a variety of reasons. Good luck!

I have been getting the 2mg Greenstones the last few years and they work much better than the Actavis. Now i read that greenstones were changed back in early 2014. Is it people that take these to feel high or people who really need them for anxiety and nothing else? Regardless if they have been changed they're still much better Actavis and I have heard mixed results on Sandoz. Dava seems to be crap. Took it once (looks to be from Endo who bought out Qualitest). I have PTSD and severe anxiety, but I'm sick of wasting my money when they don't take me serious and don't write me anything. Klonopin, Valium, etc all really hurt my stomach. Be extremely careful with this matter. You're literally playing with death if done improper. You are at a high risk of seizures and withdrawl may take a week or so. I was in jail on 120 mg. of methadone and taking only 2 2mg of xanax daily. Within three days I was admitted to the icu unit of a local hospital for nearly a week. I absolutely knew nothing- not even how to eat. I had had a severe seizure. Loading someone up with phenabarbs every couple of hours for approximately 12 hours at first, then prn for two or three days, is perhaps the best way to go. Remember, xanax is Life threatening.
