What Is Tab Acta

I have been dispensed dihydrocodiene. The manufacturer is Actavis. The pill is about 5mm round in size and shape, white in color, and is imprinted on one side with the letters C,D,H. The letter 'C' appears at the top and letters "DH" appear as a "second line" imprint below the "C". I'm trying to discern that the medication has not be switched or substituded as it was purchased from a pharmacy that gossip about says substitutions happen. Is this medication what it says it is? ## I work for the manufacturer & the tablets certainly is the right size & has the right markings on it. It would be impossible to advise on its authenticity on a forum though. If you are doubt about receiving fake tablets, contact the MHRA, the pharmaceutical regulatory b...

IVE BEEN GIVEN MEDICATION BY A DOCTOR THEIR NAMES ARERANMOXY, ASCORBIC ACID,ACTAMOL,FLUSTAT,BROFEN AND DPH SYRYP. I GET VERY DROWSY AFTER DRINKING THEM. COULD I BE AALERGIC OR I SHOULD NOT TAKE THEM ALL AT ONCE ## Hello, Mampinga! How are you? Drowsiness can be a normal side effect of most medications, especially, if you're taking several at once and it is completely normal. As reported by the U.S. FDA you may also experience nausea, dizziness and headache. If your doctor approves, you can break them up and take them at different times, depending on what works for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What are actamol pills used for? Is it common to have a running stomach and feeling hot after taking actamol tablet?

this pill does not do what its supposed to do very weak not good for pain ## There have been many complaints about these tablets from Actavis. I suggest reporting the issue to the FDA, so they are made aware of it. You can reach them at 888-463-6332 This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This is my first time receiving Actavis A333 and I must say (to keep it professional) they are "C-R-A-P!" I just had my doctor cut me down from 15 mg Roxi to 10 mg Percocet. Yes, from 15 mg Roxi to Percocet 10 mg. Two reasons, one to help me control it and two because I get tired calling around the pharmacies trying to find t...

I'm wondering what kind of pill I have ? Its a small white round pill with the purepac logo on it with 714 next to the logo. Can anybody help me ? ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? Actavis lists this tablet as containing 50mgs of Tramadol. The FDA classifies this medication as an opioid analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am prescribed Lestrozole 2.5mg for breast cancer made by Femara. The only problem is that when I get my prescription it is always a different make. At the moment I have Actavis, but I would rather have the Femara which was prescribed from the hospital. ## HI, Flower! Do you have a problem with the generic ones? I'm not sure what the policy is where you're located, so I'd suggest talking to your pharmacist/chemist and asking them if you can get the name brand, or if you have to take a generic. I know in the U.S. much of it depends on your insurance and what it covers, for instance in most cases you have to take the generics. Learn more Femara details here.

Where is the manufacture of Actavis generic drug, Triamterene-HCTZ (37.5-25 mg) tablets before distribution? ## Hello Ro, I'm having a hard time determining what your question is. Actavis is the manufacturer/labeler of this medication so they are the source of the pill prior to distribution. If you are asking about the location of the Actavis plant that manufactured your pill it would be difficult to say as they have plants all around the world to include Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Northern-Ireland, Italy, Malta, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Serbia, Thailand, the UK and the US. One way that you could trace the origin of your medication is to find the batch number on the package that the medicine came in ...

can anyone tell me what this small yellow tablet with c db on one side, i have been told its diazepam but not certain ## It's 5mg generic diazepam made by Almus Pharmaceuticals. I know as I have them in my possession for back muscle spasms as I type this. ## Thanks man!! I found one randomly on the floor im local shop . Wasn't shure but I now. M cheers ## Hello, Tom is correct the pill you described is a 5mg diazepam pill. I have found that this imprint is actually used by a number of generics but the most common one is Actavis pharmaceuticals. Just wanted to let you know in case you were allergic to a certain inactive ingredient that isn't found in Almus pharma but is found in one of the other generics that use this imprint. Have a wonderful day.

What is the diff.between mal. And acta ? ## Hello, Bee! How are you? Mal stands for Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and Acta stands for Actavis, they are both manufactures of generic prescription medications. So, they are the same, just manufactured by different companies. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. My generic toprol xl just changed to this and I want info on this manufacturer to see if there are any problems with it. ## I was also changed to the Actavis Metoprolol success er 25 MG due to lack of availability or discontinuation of Mylan's generic version. I find the Avtavis version not nearly as effective as Mylan and am trying to learn the status of the Mylan MT1 version, or the effectiveness of other generics for this drug. ## Although some manufacturers have a reputation for more or less effective meds, I find that everyone's response/reaction is also going to vary based on several factors; including but not limited to one's unique body chemistry, metabolism, sensitivities to inert ingredients, etc. That said, trial and error may be the only way to determine what wor...

I usually always took a different brand of percocet 5/325. My new dr called my script into Walgreens (usually i went thru hy-vee). I have been taking the Actavis brand since 4/18/16. I went yesterday to my dr. She evaluated my urine to check the opioid level. I got a call this morning from her- there is NO OPIOID in my system at all! I have been taking percocet for years due to a bad auto accident years ago. I took the pills to Walgreens, she would call dr and call me. She did-tried to tell me i hadn't been taking them! Basically called me a liar! Does anyone know where/how i could get these pills analyzed? Please let me know- {edited for privacy}. Thank-you

What country manufactures Acatavis's generic product oxycodone 10mg/acetaminophen 325mg tablets ## Hello, Melvin! How are you? I'm afraid that I don't have this information, however, what I can tell you is that regardless of where any given medication is manufactured, all of them must meet the same safety, quality and efficacy standards to be approved by the FDA and available on the U.S. market. This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Actavis is located in Elizabeth NJ. I ride pass there every week when i visit my daughter.

I had been taking 5/325 generic Watson percocet for 4 years. Suddenly I get notified by Walgreens which I have insurance that there is no more Watson brand and I was given generic percocet 5/325 by Actavis. It is not the same at all. It has no pain relief for me. I used to break the watsons in half sometimes and never had a funny taste. I just broke one of the actavis white tablets in half and it immediately tasted like salt or alka seltzer? Has anyone had any issues with this drug too. Also, along with it not working right it has made my GI tract and stomach so ill feeling and cramping. This is not right how can they take away a medicine that someone has been on for 4 years without any problems and tell them to suddenly switch. weening off this antidepressant, i have been on it for 3 months. any one out there with exactly the same medicine? how many mg did u reduce it by and over what period of time. Thanks ## This type of information is probably best given by your doctor; only because the difference in dosages can affect each person differently. What might be a safe tapered-dose for one person could also end up being too drastic of a change for someone else. I would even ask your doctor to help you put together a tapering schedule (on a calendar), in order track your progress and keep you on the right path to completing your goal within a specific time frame. Without a way to track your progress, tapering can sometimes be much more difficult than it needs to be. I hope this advice helps!

Does Actavis still make Verapamil / Calan in 40mg tablets? ## Actavis has been purchased by Teva Pharmaceuticals, and they produce a 40mg Verapamil with the WATSON logo over the number 404, which is round, and orange. Ref: Teva This likely means that the specific one that was manufactured by Actavis is no longer available. Generally, when one company purchases another, or merges with another, they stop producing the duplicate products, as it is not cost effective to keep manufacturing all of them. What product does your pharmacy have available?

In simple terms they are are actavis 10mg tablets. Markings C DC with a split line through the middle. Light blue, blank on one side in sealed silver strips, with 14 to each. They don't seem to be good. ## Yes. That's the same marking that are on actavis diazepam. But be careful if u got them from any other place besides a licensed pharmacy cause there's a lot of counterfeit tablets going about. Put 1 under your tongue. If it starts melting and tastes kinda sweet then it should be diazepam. ## You're getting one of the best brands of Diazepam out there. Actavis, Teva and Crescent, all made in the UK and reputable. ## Yes, they will melt easily under your tongue. You taste a slight chalky taste with a hint off sweetness. If it melts like that then your fine. If it doesn...
