I was on suboxone 2 mg 2x a day for 4 years. I stopped cold turkey due to a request from and death of my father. 16 days until I could sleep more than 2 hours.. Days 1-5 weren't as bad as 6-14. After that it was restless legs.. Fatigue, depression, anxiety, depression again... Not until I began. Sleeping 6+ hours did most of it go away.. Still have depression and restless legs not almost 2 months later and everyday around my normal second dose time I notice I get very tired. F*** suboxone. Do not use it for more than a detox. Save yourself. If I could go back and withdraw off dope or methadone, I'd have stuck with them and not been a p**** and use sub's as a crutch. The "substance abuse" doctors give 0 s***s about you. Its all a business. $$$$ ## Unfortunately, after...

I have a pill that is supposed to be generic suboxone. On it is 54 on top and 375 on bottom. Nothing on the back. What is this? ## Hello, Rob! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as being an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Please let me know what this pill Is. It's Orange with 153 on one. The other side has a half moon. What is this? ## Hello, Tracy! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as being an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, so it's a generic for Subutex, which doesn't contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is this a generic 8mg suboxone buphnorphine pill? ## No - tablets marked with a 44 followed by 3 additional numbers are all over the counter products. This one is currently being manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Dinenhydrinate. The FDA lists this medication as being used to treat or prevent nausea, vomiting and vertigo. Its typical side effects include drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Are there any questions or concerns? ## I have to pill. It's round white blank on one side and has a 44 on top of score and 198 on bottom of score. A friend of my husbands mentioned that he was taking subxone. I was curious as to what it was. He showed one to me but it looks exactly like a generic percocet but has different numbers. They are a round white pill with nothing on one side and on the other are the numbers 54 411. however, the only description i'm finding is oval and orange. Is this suboxone or something else? ## A white circle pill with nothing imprinted on either side is it a generic suboxone? ## There is no generic for Suboxone. Suboxone itself is an orange octagon tablet. It has N8 on one side and what looks like a high cross on the other side. There is a generic for Subutex. It is a white tablet and has 54 411 on one side. The 54 is above the 411. Hope this helps. Instead of relying on people who will take advan...

is a 4mg tablet of suboxone a half of tablet or a whole tablet...could someone please explain this to me...8mg 2 mg what is what?? ## There are 2 dosages available, which contain the Buprenorphine and Naloxone, one is a 2mg/0.5mg and one is an 8mg/2mg, so yes, to take 4mgs, you'd have to take half of the larger tablet. This is a narcotic, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

I am questioning a pill. The doc said to my friend it is a new suboxone however i cannot locate it anywhere. Its is a round orange pill with an orange flavor with the imprint of a dagger on one side i think and i cant see what the other side says. it may have a coating of sorts on it. Has anyone heard of this new suboxone shape? ## normal suboxone 8mg tablet is kindof big, octogon shape with small cross shape on one side as well. It is not a "new" suboxone tablet, however. If you bring it to any pharmacist and show it, they will confirm what it is. They won't take it from you either. Hope this helped. Thanks, Grace Patient Services Manager ## the newer generic suboxone pills that are round instead of octagon and dont have the cross on it either, they are definitely suboxones...

Yes I live in Ohio I am an oppiate addict who is on disability ive been through it all i want to know if Ohio Disability ssd covers anything the meds or the visits to the doctors? ## Hi Gene, Based on my research, the Social Security Administration (SSA) webpage for some reason, does not actually list any of the types of services or disability that it supposedly covers. Basic information about the program can be found in the following pdf document. But I have yet to find specific details on coverage: ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10029.pdf However, from the looks of things, it seems like your best bet at this point would be to either contact the SSA directly regarding their coverage, or to discuss any type of disability information with your doctor. Reason being is that every doctor may have diffe...

How long were you on the suboxone for? Other than lack of energy, how are you feeling? ## New here. I have been on Subutex for 7 years. I am trying to get off. It has been 5 days since I had any and weaned before that. I STILL feel like my body is made of lead. I'm so close but can't handle this lack of energy and my legs hurt..... I want to get clean as I have been on opiates for too long. Please advise. ## Hi Tina! I was on opiates for 11 years and became sick and tired of addiction. I've been on suboxone for 10 years now and my life has been so much better. It helps with withdrawals and cravings. It's up to you which route you want to take to get clean. Some people go cold turkey, some go on methadone and others take suboxone. I've tried cold turkey and suffered severely. But everyone is different. Were you looking for information about suboxone or thinking about getting on it? If you have any questions I would be happy to help. ## stop taking opiates. You will get very sick, no way around this. You can accelerate the process by taking an antagonist, not something I would recommend unless I still ha...

I'm on day four of no subs after a 24 mg a day treatment for pain and addiction. I wish i never touched the stuff. My pain management doc reccommended them to me after a year long perc and vic habit. I wish i just would of suffered throught the few days of WD from that instead of going on subs. THEY DID GIVE ME MY LIFE BACK. BUT!!!! They are very very very hard to let go of. The WD is not as intense as dope sick but it is drawn out and mostly mental. The first week is achey and pissed off. I know that because thats how far i got before then started subs again. I'm on day four trying again. I got some valium this time to help me throught the worst of it so I'm hoping I will win the battle this time. im am trying to get off painkillers no doctor will help i have 4 kids i need to worry about is there any place to buy suboxone leagly ## Unfortunately the only legal way to get Suboxone is through a prescription from your doctor. If you're trying to wean off I would highly recommend visiting a pain management doctor or specialist as opposed to a regular MD, since they are generally less reluctant to prescribe the types of medications. For more information on doctors in your area that are known for prescribing Suboxone and other related medications, I'd recommend checking out the the link below: buprenorphine-doctors.com/find-a-doctor.cfm I hope this helps! ## hi, i am assuming you are a woman, a mom of 4 children, looking to get off of opiates...i agree with david...i myself hav...

I am trying get myself clean off H n just took a 6mg suboxone strip. Will it help if so long till it works? ## Hi Kitty! B 4 the suboxone will work, u MUST b in withdrawals. Otherwise, it won't work and can make u feel worse. As far as time, they usually take about 15 minutes 2 work. If the g don't work, u may need more. It all depends on how much and how long u were using. But, if you want 2 get clean, u r going 2 need more than a day or few 2 do it. U should go 2 a clinic or suboxone dr and do it properly. If u r not already doing that. Remember, the main thing is 2 b withdrawing b 4 u take the suboxone.
