What Is Suboxone Used For

Does suboxone help with severe pain? I have had several back surgerys and have severe hip pain. I have been on dr perscribed oxycontin and loritab. Seeing a new dr who only perscribes suboxone. Will I continue to have pain being on this medication? ## Suboxone is mainly prescribed for opiate withdrawall in the states. I,ve read that other countries use it for pain relief. I,ve been prescribed it for opiate withdrawall but have pretty severe leg pain. It does help me with this pain. Some people say it does nothing for pain, I disagree. May I ask why your going to a suboxone Dr?

Is their a blue suboxone? Was told it comes in a square and you cut it in 4 pieces. Its blue thick and has a bubble gum taste when put under lounge yes its as bad of a taste as orange ones have. Hi I take subs and I want to switch to the pill form but I like to no is the price the same as the strips i.I called my insurance company and the don't no what to type in to see if they cover the pill they said they just see the strip but my guestion what is the pill called.is it subxoin tablet,because that was not coming up when the insurance try to look it up so what do u call the pill form i called my pharmacy and they have the pill form to and I ask the pharmacy they call it pill form but there must be a name for the pill a different name dose anyone.l have Medicaid to o and the pill form is a AN415 but what is the name of it??? ## No, the name brand is still called Suboxone. I was on suboxone 2 mg 2x a day for 4 years. I stopped cold turkey due to a request from and death of my father. 16 days until I could sleep more than 2 hours.. Days 1-5 weren't as bad as 6-14. After that it was restless legs.. Fatigue, depression, anxiety, depression again... Not until I began. Sleeping 6+ hours did most of it go away.. Still have depression and restless legs not almost 2 months later and everyday around my normal second dose time I notice I get very tired. F*** suboxone. Do not use it for more than a detox. Save yourself. If I could go back and withdraw off dope or methadone, I'd have stuck with them and not been a p**** and use sub's as a crutch. The "substance abuse" doctors give 0 s***s about you. I am dependent on norco 10/325 and was taking between 7-10 per day. I want to get off of them completely but the withdrawals are way too intense. I want to know a way to do so safely and comfortably. My situation is that on thursday mid day i had taken my last norco. By friday morning i had started feeling the withdrawal. I had gotten a 8mg suboxone and only took half and withdrawal went away really quickly all day friday. I have been a suboxone/subutex patient for over 8 years. I just stopped 8 months ago and since then I have been in and out of mental wards. I feel like ppl are trying to kill me. I'm paranoid constantly.. I feel like there is some big conspiracy about me. I also abused my scripted of adderall for 5 yrs. off for 8 months as well. Idk what to do. Is this a generic 8mg suboxone buphnorphine pill? ## No - tablets marked with a 44 followed by 3 additional numbers are all over the counter products. This one is currently being manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 50mgs of Dinenhydrinate. The FDA lists this medication as being used to treat or prevent nausea, vomiting and vertigo. Its typical side effects include drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. A friend of my husbands mentioned that he was taking subxone. I was curious as to what it was. He showed one to me but it looks exactly like a generic percocet but has different numbers. They are a round white pill with nothing on one side and on the other are the numbers 54 411. however, the only description i'm finding is oval and orange. I'm quite upset and feel like the rug was pull out from under me. I've had five back fusions via three surgies (4 cervical & 1 Lumbo-sacral ) , one surgery for silicone toxicity/ removal, 2-surgies on my hands, 1- surgery on my bladder. I've already detox-ed myself off of lortab, phentyl patches prior to each surgery.. My problem now is managing my chronic pain that's left over...I'm better since the surgeries but far from whole pain wise. I hurt so bad that I can't shower, or dress without help if I don't take some form of pain medication. I mearly use 30mg morphine extended release three time a day, as needed at night 1- 10mg percocet or valium to help sleep or decrease muscle spasms. I just don't feel like I meet the critiera of abuse to warrant me...

No energy at all. Any advice ## Suboxone does contain a very potent narcotic, so stopping it can also cause some withdrawal symptoms, even though it's used to treat addiction, so feeling run down and lacking in energy is to be expected. How long were you taking it? The length of your withdrawals will likely depend on that.

I take Benadryl for allergies daily. I'm also taking Suboxone. Recently I gave a urine and my councilor told me it came up neg for the Suboxone. I take 12 mg daily and have never missed a day in the last three years. Could the Benadryl cause this result in my urine ? Has this ever happened to anyone else.
