Does suboxone help with severe pain? I have had several back surgerys and have severe hip pain. I have been on dr perscribed oxycontin and loritab. Seeing a new dr who only perscribes suboxone. Will I continue to have pain being on this medication? ## Suboxone is mainly prescribed for opiate withdrawall in the states. I,ve read that other countries use it for pain relief. I,ve been prescribed it for opiate withdrawall but have pretty severe leg pain. It does help me with this pain. Some people say it does nothing for pain, I disagree. May I ask why your going to a suboxone Dr?

I was on suboxone 2 mg 2x a day for 4 years. I stopped cold turkey due to a request from and death of my father. 16 days until I could sleep more than 2 hours.. Days 1-5 weren't as bad as 6-14. After that it was restless legs.. Fatigue, depression, anxiety, depression again... Not until I began. Sleeping 6+ hours did most of it go away.. Still have depression and restless legs not almost 2 months later and everyday around my normal second dose time I notice I get very tired. F*** suboxone. Do not use it for more than a detox. Save yourself. If I could go back and withdraw off dope or methadone, I'd have stuck with them and not been a p**** and use sub's as a crutch. The "substance abuse" doctors give 0 s***s about you. Its all a business. $$$$ ## Unfortunately, after...

im looking for free Suboxone. My dr prescibe it but the cost is prohibited. Can you help obtain this drug cheaper. Thank you, jason Marino ## Hi jason, From what I could gather, I'm not aware of any organizations or pharmacies offering free Suboxone with a valid prescription. However there are a number of coupons available to the public online that I know of, which may be helpful to you in saving a good portion of the cost. One of the more popular prescription coupon sites that may be of help is medicationcoupons.com/suboxone_coupon They mention a savings of up to $45 each time you fill your Suboxone prescription. Hopefully others on here will have their own recommendations for you, but this is a solid one in my opinion. ## I need help ASAP. My dr prescribed me suboxone 8mg. I'v...

I get prescribed Suboxone films 8/2 and the cost is killing me. Will the discount card work at a discount pharmacy? ## Hello, Preston! How are you? You'll need to ask the pharmacy in question, if they accept it. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What pharmacy do you use? If you can post back with this information, someone may know.

My situation is that on thursday mid day i had taken my last norco. By friday morning i had started feeling the withdrawal. I had gotten a 8mg suboxone and only took half and withdrawal went away really quickly all day friday. All day sat i was still fine on only the half then sat night i started feeling the withdrawal again so i took the other half. The rest of the day i was fine and all day sunday and all day monday. I have another suboxone tablet just in case it happens but am i doing this safely and will it work to get off everything completely? ## Dear dan, it all depends on how long u...

I'm paranoid constantly.. I feel like there is some big conspiracy about me. I also abused my scripted of adderall for 5 yrs. off for 8 months as well. Idk what to do. I can't tell what's real or fake in life, seems like everything is a set up. My brother died less than 2 yrs ago. I had 2 babies born on suboxone. Do they make Suboxone in a jelly type of form? ## Hello, Lulu! How are you? As of writing this it is available as a liquid, tablets and orally dissolvable film. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## It appears that a compounding pharmacy may be able to provide the medication in that form:

This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as being an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone. I'm quite upset and feel like the rug was pull out from under me. I've had five back fusions via three surgies (4 cervical & 1 Lumbo-sacral ) , one surgery for silicone toxicity/ removal, 2-surgies on my hands, 1- surgery on my bladder. I've already detox-ed myself off of lortab, phentyl patches prior to each surgery.. My problem now is managing my chronic pain that's left over...I'm better since the surgeries but far from whole pain wise. I hurt so bad that I can't shower, or dress without help if I don't take some form of pain medication. I mearly use 30mg morphine extended release three time a day, as needed at night 1- 10mg percocet or valium to help sleep or decrease muscle spasms. I just don't feel like I meet the critiera of abuse to warrant me...

A friend of my husbands mentioned that he was taking subxone. I was curious as to what it was. He showed one to me but it looks exactly like a generic percocet but has different numbers. They are a round white pill with nothing on one side and on the other are the numbers 54 411. however, the only description i'm finding is oval and orange. Is this suboxone or something else? ## A white circle pill with nothing imprinted on either side is it a generic suboxone? ## There is no generic for Suboxone. Suboxone itself is an orange octagon tablet. It has N8 on one side and what looks like a high cross on the other side. There is a generic for Subutex. It is a white tablet and has 54 411 on one side. The 54 is above the 411. Hope this helps. Instead of relying on people who will take advan...

First off ive been using roxies for about 5 years on and off. When its bad its like a $150+ a day habit, ill get "clean"(literally just using enough to keep withdrawls at bay, not enough to get high, like 2 blues a day) for about a month then i go back to using heavy. Recently i went through some s***, decided to seriously put it all down for good, tapered down to one pill a day, then locked myself in my house for a week and went totally cold turkey. Needless to say that was f***ing horrible. Anyway my question is this, i dont feel i have the strength to stay away from the s*** entirely on my own recognizence, so would suboxone be something i should look into? I met with a doctor to discuss costs and treatment, she feels it would help, money is not the issue, i would really like...

This tablet is manufactured by Actavis and they list it as being an 8mg sublingual Buprenorphine tablet, so it's a generic for Subutex, which doesn't contain the Naloxone that Suboxone does. Is this a generic 8mg suboxone buphnorphine pill? ## No - tablets marked with a 44 followed by 3 additional numbers are all over the counter products. I've been taking many Oxy 80's daily for the past 2 years. I am on 8mg sub film 2x daily. I still experienced precipitated withdrawls and I waited 54 hours before I started with the subs. It's now 2 days later and I feel very bloated. In addition it feels like I have butterflies in my stomach. It's very uncomfortable. Has anyone experienced this and if so what did you do and how long does it last. Thanks for the advice and best of luck to all. ## Based on my research, stomach pain (upset stomach); constipation; euphoria; feelings of depersonalization; & feeling light-headed; are the closest Suboxone-related side effects I'm finding to the symptoms mentioned in your description. Do any of these sound like what you may be going through? I also went ahead and posted...
