I usually take 2 lortab 7.5 every 6 hours. I haVe been reading a lot about the different in hydro and oxcy and the Tylenol in and what the numbers mean. Talking with friends who only have limited to none knowledge about the subject I heard about a lortab 10 or lartab 20? Is it more hydro fro pain relief or just more Tylenol added to them? I've had 3 back surgery and I am want more of the burning pain to go away. To me lartabs worked better than oxcy 5 or 10s. ## The highest amount of medication in Lortab, or any other hydrocodone combination med is 10 mg hydrocodone and 325 acetaminphen. The most amount of acetaminphen that a prescription meds can contain now is 325 mg.

Tramadol is a generic for Ultram and it is a non-narcotic, it does work well for some people, but not great for severe pain suffers. The Lortab 10/500 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The Endocet 10/650 contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 650mgs of Acetaminophen. So, in the narcotic pain reliever amount, they are the same. Since these have the highest amount available of the Hydrocodone in them, coupled with the Acetaminophen, it is very important not to try and double up on them, due to the danger of overdose and the Acetaminophen toxicity. I take Lortab 10's, Fentanyl 100mg patch every 3 days and Ibuprofen. I stay in constant pain and wanted to know what I could switch to that would be stronger and help with my constant pain. if the 10 mgs of hydrocodone(loracets) are the same as any other pain relievers containing 10 mgs of hydrocodone (ex: narco, loratab....) why do the 10 mg loracets seem to work twice as good as the others. ## Because the different amount of Acetaminophen plays a role, it basically enhances the effects of the narcotic, so it works better. I take 3 Tylenol 4's a day & just got 7.5/325mg hydrocodone today. Would lortab 10 or tylenol #4 be stronger than 7.5 hydrocodone? I did not get the script filled yet. They told me it was Vicadin at the doctors office. I already had a bottle mostly untouched of the 10-55 because a doctor seemed worried that it was addictive and gave me tramadol which I can't say touches the pain. ## The one with the higher amount of the Hydrocodone is stronger, since it is the narcotic and the Acetminophen just helps it to work better. The colors don't mean anything and it is the markings on the tablets that would enable use to check them and see if there are any differences.
