You may even be post-menopausal and your doctor can check for that with a blood test. Ok so I just started the sprintec. If I'm on the white pills and want my period to stop, should I start on my blue bills again?? ## Hi Boo! U should really stick 2 the directions of taking the pill. Even though the white pills r 2 keep u on track, u should still take them. U want 2 keep your body on a schedule. Did u just start the pill, recently? If so, your periods could b off 4 a couple of months. Then, usually, the periods will slow down. Some women don't get their period, after a few months. Hope this info helps. ## To prevent your period, you'd basically have to let it not start, but going straight into a new pack of active pills and skipping the white ones. I started my period on my last week of blue pills, today(Monday). I am having a family vacation this weekend and am going to be outside doing active things.
