have just started taking morphine for severe pain in my spine due to arthritis. The side effects range from restlessness, itching, not sleeping and fidgety. Can anyone tell me how I can stop these or lessen them. Can I take paracetamol? I am also asthmatic also have topic eczema. Am in my late 50s have been treated for arthritis in my spine and my other joints for the last 10yrs but my spine is the worst. It has been getting progressively worse over the years. Recently its been so bad, I've hardly been able to stand up straight let alone walk. Since Tuesday this week I've been taking MST CONTINUS M/R TABLETS 30mg. One twice daily. How long do the side effects of Fortaz last after you stop taking it? ## Hi Mary - I did not find specific information as far as how long you could be experiencing side effects after stopping the drug. I know from my own experience that it can be weeks in the case of other antibiotics. You might consider calling the manufacturer Teligent Pharma at 856-697-1441. DailyMed also has a pretty detailed list of possible adverse effects. May I ask what you are experiencing?

I am a 69 year old male who experienced upper gastric pain and was prescribed Mucosta t.i.d. times 7 days. After the very first dose of 1 tablet I began serious side effects: hypertension, constipation, inability to concentrate and panic attacks related to my inability to stop the effect of the drug. Depression and inability to experience happiness, or pleasure. I suspect my hypersensitivity may be related to the fact that I have genetically evolved essential tremor for which I have taken Corgard/Nadalol 40 mg for the past 20 years. WHAT IS THE HALF LIFE of Mucosta? I was given a 40 mg dose of Pantoloc which I also stopped taking after the first pill. I switched back to Omeprazole 20 mg which I took before with no problems and it seems to have ended the gastric pain.

I have taken elequis for over 2 years now. I have Afib. This month my Dr added another drug - a ppi to my prescription to combat any future stomach problems caused by elequis! I have been taking this medication for two years. I'm a vegetarian and the 500mg is too strong. It's makes me dizzy. Therfore, I cut it up in four pieces. I asked my doctor to lower the mg but he refuses. My blood sugar reading is excellent.
