How can I dispose of expired nitroglycerin pills? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? The current disposal instructions from the FDA say that you should mix them in with some undesirable substance, such as used kitty litter or used coffee grounds, place it into a sealed container, such as a coffee can with lid and then dispose of it in your normal trash. Alternatively, you can take them to a local pharmacy and they will gladly dispose of them for you. My wife suffers from MS. She works at a local hospital and i`ve found she has tablets she has `borrowed` tucked away at home. She has codein, diazapam and oxazapam. None of these are prescribed for her. I`m worried she is taking tablets she shouldn`t be. Should I confront her? ## @Jason, In my honest opinion I think it would be best for you to confront her. To have such a random assortment of anti-anxiety and pain meds makes no sense unless you're wanting to try them all out or are selling/delivering them. No one just "borrows" pills to look at them. I mean this is your wife that you're speaking of, so she shouldn't have anything to hide from you. Trust is everything in a committed relationship. ## David, Thanks for reply, I'm watching the number of each she has ...

I am prescribed Lestrozole 2.5mg for breast cancer made by Femara. The only problem is that when I get my prescription it is always a different make. At the moment I have Actavis, but I would rather have the Femara which was prescribed from the hospital. ## HI, Flower! Do you have a problem with the generic ones? I'm not sure what the policy is where you're located, so I'd suggest talking to your pharmacist/chemist and asking them if you can get the name brand, or if you have to take a generic. I know in the U.S. much of it depends on your insurance and what it covers, for instance in most cases you have to take the generics. Learn more Femara details here.
