My dr prescribed Purbac Ds 950 mg tabs, but the tab the chemist gave to me does not look like the correct tablet, as there is the word C24 engraved on the tab. Is this the right one or not? ## In my investigation, neither Purbac Adult, Purbac DS or Purbac Paediatric suspension are available in 950mg dosage forms. The manufacturer ("Pharmacare Limited") only lists 40mg/200mg; 80mg/400mg; 160mg/800mg - not to mention, 950mg would only represent one of the two active ingredients in Purbac (Trimethoprim/Sulphamethoxazole).
