What Is Pax 10mg Used For

My doctor gave me pax 10mg to take twice daily for 'stress' which was causing my 'high blood pressure' to rise very high. Is it safe to take them? And I don't know what the side effects of pax is. I get chronic migraines, and I have chronic osteoarthritis, and I only have half a colon, and the specialist told me it's very important that I must not get constipated. How long does it take for pax 10 mg to be metabolized? ## How do I get back to 20mg of pax 10 a day? I've been on it for 2 years and some days my anxiety is so bad I take up to 10 tablets. I take epilum 1000 mg a day. 30 mg mirtazipine a day too. All for manic deppression and anxiety and past siezures.

Have been on Paxil 10mg for 5yrs and new (past year) Dr told me that even though I just had bloodwork, they cannot refill until I see Dr again. I have seen this Dr 5 times in past year for other things. I have 5 doses left but Dr can't see me for almost 30 days. I know I am not supposed to stop taking Paxil suddenly. Dr says it is a controlled substance, so I looked it up and that is a flat out lie. So I was taking 30mg and over the past few months since June I believe I went from 30mg to 2.5mg because I didn't being tired and basicly feeling like a zombie. But now I'm at 2.5mg its like I'm taking nothing my anxiety it sky high again and my OCD is going to drive me insane. My Dr made me go from 10- 20 then 20 to 30. So can I go from 2.5 to 10mg. I think 10 would help me a lot. Then in a month I go back to 20 if 10 don't help. So is this safe.

Hi all, I am going to jump up to 10mg as my psychiatrist told me to start @ 5mg and go to 10 once I felt comfortable.This was because I have been on Paxil and Cymbalta but had to stop due to bad side effects. I've been on 20mg Paxil/aropax (one per day) for 20 months now after suffering from bad anxiety and panic attacks. I've recently decided to come off it as I'm feeling really well. I went as saw my doctor who told me to lower my dosage to 10mg per day for a month then reassess after that. It's been 5 days and the withdrawals are horrible. I've been on Paxil 5mg tablet (I cut a 10mg tablet in half) for about 2 years. I recently had increased stress in my life so my PCP up'd me to 10 mg which caused increased weight gain and lowered libido. So, I was started on Wellbutrin 75mg daily and told to stop the Paxil as I probably wouldn't have any side effects since I was on such a low dose for so long. I'm sensitive to drugs so I'm not sure. I have been on anti-depressants since 1999 and would like to get off them altogether. I started with Paxil and after several years, it just wasnt cutting it anymore. Lexapro was a complete 180 right from the start. I am only on 10mg a day, but would like to stop. Had a real bad experience with stopping Paxil once for a week prior to a sleep study and am worried quitting Lexapro might be the same. I just got out of Dover Behavior health for a nervous meltdown I was prescribed Paxil & xanax what scares me is the other medications I'm on which are percocet 10mg no Tylenol & oxycontin 40mg. I have been taking 10mg citalopram for 3 days, want to stop, bad headaches feel exhausted, swelling under my tongue, can i just stop or do I need to do this gradually? ## If it's only been 3 days, you can stop, if you feel more comfortable doing it gradually break them in half and take a half for 2 more days. I have been tapering off 40 mgs of Paxil and I decided to just stop and got extremely sick. I would be so grateful if someone could help me figure out why I'm sleepy all the time! I am taking opana 10mg 2x daily, with vicodan for breakthrough pain. I am 65 yrs old, female and also taking many other pills including paxil, lasix, simvastatin, insulin (type II diabetic) lisinopril, glipizide and potassium.
