I've had some constant urination problem for 3 years now. It has gotten worse recently, like in the last 3 months. Sometimes I spend more time on toilet then outside. In May 2015, I peed for 2 days and it stopped. Turns out I had strep throat and took antibiotics, but the peeing stopped before that. The problem was gone until July 11 2015. I peed a lot and could not stop for days. I went to urgent care and the doctor told me to try oxybutnin chloride. It seemed to work on and off, but recently it's given me some nausea, slight stomach pains, weight loss cause of pains, tiredness, and fuzzy head. I was suppose to only take pills 2 times a day, but I'm reducing it to 1 before sleep because these effects are making me depressed. I have an appointment for urology in 2 weeks! Wha...

I have developed a rash which has moved to different parts of my body until I itched all over. Dermatologist prescribed strong prednisone cream which made rash leave for about two weeks. now it's back and she thinks oxybutnin is the cause as it's the last new medication given to me. Has anyone else had a bad rash while on oxybutnin? It's a flat red rash which itches plus development of skin tags. ## From the detailed medication information, it has been known to cause these types of rashes in 2 to 5% of patients that use it. Have you consulted your doctor about switching to a different medication?

How long will it be before this is out of system. I had a lot of trouble with it, dry mouth , dry nose so dry it was bleeding, dissyness terrible cough and up set stomach . The FDA does list those symptoms as being possible side effects of this medication. How long were you taking it? It may take a week, or so, before things return to normal, depending on that.
