What Is Noroton Used For

Can this drug cause some one to bruise on any part of thier body. The patient is taking meds for pais with cancer. ## Neurontin contains the active ingredient Gabapentin, it is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat certain types of nerve pain. It is possible that the bruising can be due to the Neurontin, but with such a medical condition, I am sure they are also on other medications/treatments, so it is very important that the patient's doctor be consulted to determine the problem. Is there anything else I can help with?

Did you mean to say "Neurontin" by chance? I haven't found anything by the name of noroton. Neurontin (Gabapentin) however, was originally developed for the treatment of epilepsy, but is currently widely used to relieve neuropathic pain. I cannot guarantee how effective it is for managing certain withdrawal symptoms (since it's not indicated for this purpose), but I'd imagine that results could vary for each individual and their particular set of symptoms. Was this person a doctor or credible source who told you that it works for all symptoms? I'm not doubting...
