concerned about a family member with the amount of acetaminiphen in these pain pills. How much is too much and how long before it can do damage to your liver? ## The 325 shows that each tablet contains 325mgs of the Acetaminophen and 10mgs of the opiate Hydrocodone. That is the same amount of Acetaminophen that is in regular Tylenol, which can be purchased over the counter. As to how much is too much, they need to stay at or under 3,000mgs of it a day. However, there is no definitive timeline I can quote you regarding how long, before it will do damage to their liver, if ever. It can vary from person to person and will depend on other factors, such as how much they are taking daily, whether not they drink alcohol, if they are on any other medications or etc. The FDA classifies this medi...

its white it says m367on one side on the other side it has a line in the middle like u could snap it in half and its suppose to be 10-325 norco. never seen this ## Yes, this contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the generic for Norco. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I snap them in half to control the nausea and pain, but it also keeps my head in check. These are very dangerous as 367 are real s***. Addictive... Sometimes I need both halves. But Sometimes you don't... If you can average one half not being taken for a day out of a 3 day pain regiment, there is still hope. Not to mention when it's bad and I need the pain relief, breaking it in half seems...

What color are my prescription pills narco 5/325 ## I have been taking Norco for about 6 years ive recently been getting yellow tablets ibstead of the regular white. Ive noticed they are not as effective as tge white. ## What are the markings on them? Since this is available as a generic medication, there are far too many on the market for me to be able to list them all for you. However, if you can post back with the markings, I can look them up and provide you with the needed information. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Hi, i was on yellow norco and valium for severe anxiety and very bad pain all over my body. Could barely walk. I'm 71 years old and have never ever abused my meds. I had many operations in past. I'm also a cancer survivor. When i lived in ny i had a wonderful Dr and he knew i never took my meds more than i was supposed too because they really helped. I moved to sacramento and found a decent Dr but she refuses to give me norco or valium. So she sent me to a psychiatrist. I couldn't believe the med he gave me. 3 days in bed i didn't know where i was. Long story short i ended up in ER with ambulance for severe pain. It was withdrawals. They gave me norco and valium. The new white norco was the worst, it didn't work at all. I just don't understand why pharmaceutical ...

It used to be 12 tablets of 10 mg norco . Now I am being told it is only 6 tablets. Does anyone know. ## Hello, Shayne! How are you? Yes, that is correct. New regulations were put in place last year that restrict how much of any medication can be prescribed, except in the case of people with terminal illnesses, such as those with stage 4 cancer. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I've been on Norco 7.5/325 since they stopped making Vicodin. I had the yellow, loved them, then my pharmacy only had the white ones from Qualitest. My last refill was with mallinckro, hate them! I itch and stay in pain 24/7. My pharmacist said they will no longer be able to get the qualitest, now I'm stuck as to where to go. I hate calling pharmacies for certain brands since they think I'm a druggie..when I clearly take no more and often less than required. ## I am very sorry about the problems you're experiencing. Unfortunately, there is no database that lists which medication any given pharmacy carries, at any given time, because such information is dynamic and can always change, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed ...

I'm prescribed 10mg. Oxcys. I went out of town 3 days ago n forgot my med, so I took 5 leftover Norcos I had left in my makeup bag from when my pm doc changed me from Norco to Oxycodone. Does Norco act differently in my body than the Oxy? ## Does it act differently? No, it is also a narcotic and has the same action for alleviating pain. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, if you have a pain contract, you might have violated the terms, so it would be best to inform your doctor of what happened. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is an alternative or an additive to 60mg of Norco/day? I have severe pain and after 7 years, I must have...

What color is a non generic norco 10 mg and who is original manufacture. ( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in...

I live in bakersfield ca but I'm willing to travel. ## Hi Jen, Listed below are a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Alternatively, you can have your primary care doctor refer you to a new pain management doctor or clinic. I live not too far from you over in Lancaster, and there are a lot of medical doctors in this area (93534 zip code) if you can't find anything in Bakersfield...

Can anyone offer their experiences with taking Norco or its various generics? How long have you taken it? I have just been prescribed this. ## I have taken Norco and the similar drugs like vicodin for many years. It is helpful for treating moderate pain for short periods. If you take opiate based pain meds for long periods of time you can build up a tolerance and you have to take more to get the same results. I have found taking an anti-imflamitory along with these meds helps to manage the pain. ## Hello, Jim! How are you? And thank you, Renee, for posting such helpful information. Some others things to keep in mind about Norco is that since it is an opiate narcotic, it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth a...

I've been on Norcos 10 mg on and off for the last three years. I take any where from 4 to 8 a day and I'm only 20 years old. My friend gave me an 8 mg Suboxone strip a few weeks ago and I've been wanting to get clean for so long. I feel like this time I need help. I ran out of money yesterday and I don't get paid until tomorrow. My withdrawal was so bad that I took my last does yesterday at 3 pm. I was so sick this morning but too scared to take the Suboxone because of everything I read about it and how it could make you so sick, I took a piece of it, about 2 mg, at 11:30. It had been 20 hours since my last Norco but I slept 9 of those hours. I was sick enough that I took a chance and within an hour all my withdrawal symptoms were gone. I now feel completely fine. To all ppl that has side effects of anxiety Xanax with your meds control that. Now the true brand of Watson Norcos are sold for 495 Prices went up and if your insurance don't pay for it they will give u generics or the pharmacy you go like CVS always gives generics ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, can be habit forming, so they may not be an appropriate choice for everyone. And the price on Norco, which is a narcotic analgesic, may also vary from one area to the next, plus your pharmacy is required to provide a generic first if you are insured, that is not an option that is left up to you. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I trying find good pharmacy I don't like CVS and Walgreen
