After six hours of taking hydrocodon-acetaminophen5-325 can I switch to Naproxin 500mg in order to drive safely, or should I wait longer? ## Hello, Rose! How are you? How is the Hydrocodone affecting you? Is it making you dizzy, drowsy, or making you feel high? If so, you definitely won't want to be driving, while feeling like that. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause other side effects, such as nausea, dry mouth and constipation. Otherwise, you should be able to switch, if your doctor approves. However, Naproxen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it likely won't alleviate your pain as much. Typical side effects of it may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Is the...

My pediotrist put me on 375 mg. of naproxin....it has relieved my arthritic pain 90%...can one stay on this drug very long???? I would like to stay on it forever!! since they took vioxx off the mkt. I am in constant pain. Thanks Addie ## My mother has been on this for years and now has kidney problems. Her kidney is only working 28% which is very bad. I would talk to my Dr. about taking this for any length of time. ## NSAIDS taken over long periods of time can be dangerous. For arthritis one can take glucosamine and tart cherries (Montmorency Cherries) which have natural anti-inflammatory properties.

IS DUOFLEX A COMBINATION OF NAPROXIN AND MOTRIN? ## Hello, Peg! How are you? No, it actually doesn't contain the active ingredient from either one. Duoflex contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol, which is a muscle relaxant, and Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. It's used to treat pain, swelling and muscle spasms. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, dry mouth and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I think that answers my questions. Thanks. ## You are very welcome! Feel free to post back, if there's anything else I can help with!

I am taking a naproxin sodium in the morning and at night but would like to have more relief during the day. Would Instaflex be the answer? ## Hello, Nettie! How are you? Instaflex is only classified by the FDA as being a nutritional supplement, so it isn't actually proven to help with anything. The manufacturer lists it as containing Glucosamine, MSM, White Willow Bark extract, ginger root, boswella, turmeric, cayenne and hyaluronic acid. It is also always best to check with your doctor, before taking any supplements, as they may be contraindicated with some medications or health conditions. This may help you, but there's no way to say for sure. Is there anything else I can help with?

Can you tell me ?can i take naproxin 500 mg with amox tr k 875 125 mg? Thank you.. ## HI, Mish! How are you? No, these actually shouldn't be taken together, because they both increase the action and effect of the other. In the case of the antibiotic, that effect isn't really going to be dangerous, but in regards the Naproxen, it might be. Learn more Augmentin details here. Learn more Naproxen details here. Someone gave me this pill and said it is a oxycodone/percocet 5/325. I have never seen this before and someone else told me that it could be a naproxin can someone tell me what this pill is??? It looks like: On one side it says MOVA, other side it has 500 M50. It is either a pink color or a peach looking color. It is a oval or oblong shape. ## Mova 500 M50 is actually Naproxen 500 mg. It is an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, but is not a narcotic like Oxycodone. Hello. I have multiple pain issues due to generalized OA, neuralgia, bilateral sciatica, trigger thumbs, carpal tunnel, protruding discs, trapped nerves, compression of spinal cord at L4/5, tendenosis, fibromyalgia and chronically inflammed tendon/nerve sheaths. I'm 52, female and in quite a bit of pain and take a few meds that include 600mg GABAPENTIN 3xdaily, which I love and can't do without. I also take dihydra., and naproxin. I've asked my GP for something more/stronger and I want to get MORPHINE at the starter dose of 30mg slow release, to see how I get on with it. My question I'd like to know from users of gabapentin with morphine is how have you got on with them + is the combo safe/good/bad in your experience? I'd like to know how your side-effects have been ...

My doctor just started me on a round of steroids. She said not to take my naproxin with it. Forgot to ask if I can take my flexerol with it. Can I do that ? ## Hello, Carol! How are you? Yes, that should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. The reason she told you to skip the Naproxen is because it and Prednisone both increased the toxicity of each other, which could result in overdose issues. The FDA lists the typical side effects for Prednisone as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, fluid retention and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi I'm on 100 I do know when they run but they don't desalt seem to do much what is better then this for osteo pain?
