Months later my neck and shoulders muscles still feel the pain. Now I am taking a muscle relaxers. ## Hello, MJ! How are you? I'm very sorry about what happened. Lyrica has been known to cause those types of side effects in some people that take it, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. However, have you stopped taking it? If so, then the side effects should not still be lingering months later. Have you had an evaluations done to see if there may be some other cause? ## Have severe itching from water all over. Doctor prescribe Lyrica and Zyrtex daily. ...

Is valuim used as a muscle relaxer? I have tryed many muscle relaxers I also have panic disorder but was taken off Klonopin abruptly could valium be used to relax muscles and relieve the anxiety as well? ## Valium is used as a muscle relaxer, to prevent seizures, the treatment of anxiety and other issues. Talk to your psychistrist about takiing the valium for anxiety and your regular dr about taking it for the muscle spasms. I seriously doubt that both drs will give you a prescription for valium. If they can consult with each other about your case, they may agree that valium is best for the treatment of both of your issues and hopefully they can decide which one of them will prescribe it. ## Thank you for agreeing that valuim is used for treatment for muscle spasms. ## Cindy, the Physic...

Readers, I an 69 years old and drew the black bean for a rare neurological disorder called Dystonia (you may want to Google the word to find more information how it affects maybe 3 out of 10,000 people. Anyway, it is specifically targets the neck, eyes, jaw, tongue or other body parts. My case is the Cervical that targets neck muscles to spasm(tighten) on their own. Imagine a permanent "crick" in your neck. Hard to turn pulls in different directions. Some cases disfigure and others are mild. My main reason for the background information is to report a tremendous worsening of the spasms and pulling head in different directions after receiving the Prolia injections. I read where muscles spasms, twitches is one of the many side effects. Because I already have a serious muscle probl...

pliva 563 little round yellow pill ## This medicine did about nothing to ease the pain I have from falling from a ladder. The doctor wanted to talk about the FDA and his restrictions?? Whatever -- ## Well, first you need to know that this is NOT a pain medication, so it will not work like a narcotic or other pain reliever does. This is a muscle relaxant, so it only helps with pain that is directly caused from muscles, such as strains, sprains, spasms, swelling and etc. If your pain is caused by other factors, which I assume it is, since you fell of a ladder, then this will not help much. It only works on pain that is directly muscular related. As to the FDA restrictions, well yes, it is possible that he may have some. They may have previously investigated and found him to be prescribing...

I FOUND THESE PILLS IN MY 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS PURSE. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THESE PILLS DO?? THANK YOU. ## You need to be a little bit more specific. Are there 2 G's, and what is on each side? Is it round, rectangular, etc. Is it scored (does it have a line going through it to break in half)? If it looks like this: Then it is 100mg of ORPHENADRINE (Flexoject, Norject). It's a strong muscle relaxant used to relieve pain and stiffness in muscles and can treat muscle spasms. If combined with alcohol, it can be a pretty intense high at those dosages.

If you are such a large pharmaceutical company, how could it be possible that no pharmacy, in all of Tulare County, Ca. has any Carisoprodol, 350 mg, which is a Qualitest generic for Soma, in stock whatsoever? Their same reply to me continues to be, "They're on back order & we don't know when we'll get them in." I have been taking Soma only when needed since the 80's & have now been without them for well over a month!! When I am having one of my excruciating muscle spasms, these have always been the only pills that work but since being without them I am left to my last resort of taking pain pills which are not meant to relax muscles, so I have to take a double dose, which knocks me out & is the only way to stop the spasms without my usual Soma!
