I need a new doctor in Mobile,Al to prescribe me Alprazolam, which I've been on for 3 years.I have all my medical records.I'm having very bad panic attacks at night & can't sleep because of the bad dreams I'm having. Thanks ## The best way to go about this is to actually make an appointment with a new doctor and make sure to take all of your records with you. If you call and try to ask if they'll prescribe any particular medication, then they'll likely see that as drug seeking behavior and you won't even be able to get in the door. This is to bring your noticed that I am suffering from severed abdominal discomfort caused by mobile infection. I use to feel mobile mass at the surround of my abdomen. The movement covers both left and right abdomen. The movement have tendency to move up to my chest and my spin too. I was scanned but the scientists remarked normal examination. My condition is gradually worsen. Rgrds. Adam. ## Can you please post back with more details, such as how it was feeling? Did you try anything to remedy the issue? Are you on any medications? What does your normal diet consist of? While I know it can be scary, the NIH does list one possibility as being nothing more than gas bubbles. Do you find yourself belching a lot? Or emitting a lot of flatulence? Have you ever had heart burn, or stomach acid...

hello, I have.been on methadone for ten years and allergic to suboxone so I need to find a Dr. that writes for methadone for painccan't afford clinic anymore. ## Hello, Kim! How are you? I'm sorry, but if you've been going to an addiction/maintenance clinic, then that is your only option. It is illegal for regular doctors to prescribe it for that. Even if you need it for pain, the fact that you went to the clinic is in your medical records, so no one will be able to prescribe Methadone for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What are you allergic to in Suboxone? Have you ever tried Subutex? ## Thanks for ur reply and I have talked to two d...

How much improvement can some achieve? I just started the medication yesterday and I know not to expect any improvement for at least 2 weeks maybe more. I can only walk a block before the pain forces me to stop and rest. Can I expect 5 blocks an 1/8th or 1/4 mile. I've already had a femoral bypass on my right leg. I just want to be able to stroll down the street and dance now and then with my honey. ## From what I can find, most studies have shown an improvement ranging from 44 to 48%, compared to 10 to 13% for a placebo group, so it was definitely a significant improvement. The peaks were reached at weeks 8 and 12 of taking it. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, headache, diarrhea and increased heart rate. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No that answered...

My doctor no longer practices and I need my Xanax and narcos. My son age 2 years 3 days old drown in a pool and I had a bad car wreck resulting in major surgeries with pins, rods and screws in my hand and foot. Please help me find a new doctor. Thanks. ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? I am so sorry about that you've been through, that's so tragic. Due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll most likely need to see specialists to have such medications prescribed, so you'd need a psychiatrist and someone for pain management. Most general practitioners are no longer comfortable prescribing controlled substances. I think you would likely benefit greatly from a psychiatrist, since they do counseling, as well. The FDA classifies Xanax as a benzodia...

I am moving to Mobile in two months. I am trying to find a cronic pain management doctor that will continue to prescribe me 180 30mg Oxycodone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ## Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors that I can refer to for you according to what they will or will not prescribe. Additionally, if you call around and ask if they'll prescribe such a medication, most doctors will view that as drug seeking behavior and not even let you get in the door. What you'll actually need to do is get yourself set up with a new PCP in your new area, then see if they can refer you to a pain specialist. That would likely be the quickest way to get the help you need. Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the po...

I am new here and looking for a doctor who will continue prescribing me the Xanax I am already taking. Any help is greatly appreciated. ## Hi, Butter! How are you? I am not familiar with doctors in Mobile, since I've never been there, but I can offer you some advice that may help. If you call a new doctor asking if they'll prescribe a medication like this, since Xanax can be habit forming and isn't life sustaining, both they and their staff will view that as being drug seeking behavior, so they'll usually just tell you that they don't prescribe it and won't let you get in the door for an appointment. Thus, the best approach for those that legitimately need such a medication is to make an appointment with a new doctor and just make sure that they are sent a full c...

Anyone know a doctor that will prescribe pain medication in Mobile Alabama? Suffer from severe arthritis and neck and back problems. ## HI, Daisy! Sorry that you're in pain. Since you're in Alabama, the best suggestion I can make is that find yourself a regular, general practitioner and then discuss the issue with them, so they can refer you for pain management. Basically the area of the U.S. from Iowa, Arkansas and etc. over to the east have all been hit with a ton of new regulations for the prescribing of pain medications, due to the heavy rates of improper and over prescribing that were going on. Under these new regulations, general practitioners are restricted in what they are allowed to prescribe for pain and how long they can prescribe it, so most patients requiring strong...

I've been on xanax for 3 years & my doctor left his practice. I need a new doctor just to keep me on my medication. I have all of my Doctor's medical records. Thanks ## Personally, I think if you suffer from anxiety/depression and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being, is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and can also help you treat the underlying cause of your anxiety or depression, as opposed to covering up the feelings and emotions with medication; unless you decide that you're ok with only treating the symptoms for as long as they persist... I'm stating this based on personal experience with severe dep...

I am allowed 3-4 hydrocones a day. The FDA has made my pain management impossible. I have serious injuries from a 9/11 event. If whoever is making it impossible for us to have pain relief, all I can do is lie in bed all day suffering. There are those WHO NEED IT. If I can't work, due to severe pain, do you get my tax money? Do you care that I hurt so bad, it's already not stand able. ## No, the Government under Obama, does NOT Care. It's obvious, when you see Congress being bypassed the multitude of Executive Orders being written,..none of which are for the Good of the American People, or for the entire free Nation. Let's Only Hope, there IS an Election in 2016, and a REPUBLICAN Wins! The Democratic Nominees want even STRICTER NARCOTIC CONTROL! This will cause People wit...

Are there any drug intereactions of Instaflex with Vivelle Dot, Lovaza or Zetia? ## Instaflex is an over the counter supplement that's used to aid with joint health and mobility. They have several different formulations, but most contain Glucosamine and MSM as the base ingredients, then some herbal supplements, as well. Learn more dietary supplement details here. However, as a supplement, it has not been tested for possible interactions with prescription medications, because those types of studies aren't required to be done for it. The best suggestion I could make would be to double check with your pharmacist, before taking it. Is there something in addition to pills that I can do to help me with Parkinsons? I am presently using my cane to stabilize myself. ## As far as natural or alternative options go, I would highly recommend any or all of the following treatments: -supplement with Vitamin B12 (especially in the form of Methylcolbalamin) -supplement with Magnesium -detox the body of heavy metals -low fat diet -more fruits and veggies in the diet -staying hydrated (peeing clear all day) -supplement with Co-enzyme Q10 200mg+ per day -supplement with Vitamin C and E in generous doses. I am wondering if the prescription methyprednisolone is similiar to the herb MSM ## I have a lot of trouble with my hip and became nearly incapacitated this past summer when my hip rocked back on me.Chiropractic treatment helped, but I still struggle with pain and mobility issues. I was given methylprednisolone for a rash in my leg about two months later, and I felt like a teenager again-even ebing able to have a foot race with my son. I was wondering if the natura remedy of MSM was similiar to the methyprednisolone. ## No, they are not similar. Methylprednisolone is steroid class medication, it probably helped with your mobility issues, because it tends to shrink swelling and inflammation. That would lead me to guess that part of your problem with pain and mobility is due to inflammati...
