Isosorbide mn er 30ml was added about 8 days ago to my mother meds. She is 85. Two and a half days ago she started complaining of pain from her upper thigh going down toward her knees in both legs. There doesn't appear to be any related side effect information that mentions leg pain or inflammation within the lower extremities, so I'm thinking that Isosorbide could simply be interacting with another med or that this is more or less a just a rare side effect of the drug that isn't listed with the other more common side effects. She has never had a heart attack but has taken heart meds for congestive heart failure for many years. She has never had a major stroke. I have been prescribed above tablets by my GP as I have suspect angina getting very breathless and tired but no pain. I had an angeogram done about 4 years ago and put on heart tablets then. My problem is that I have low blood pressure and need B12 injections every 3 months for Pernicous anaema plus lots of other health problems. I am nervous abuot taking this tablet.
