I am taking Hydroxyzine for itching. However I am beginning to think I am allergic to a component. I am allergic to stearamidopropyl dimethylamine and develop hives when using cosmetics with stearic acid or derivatives. Is this an ingredient in hydroxyzine? I have a prickly, burning, deep itching on my upper arms that started about 1 month after a deep sunburn. If I touch it, the itching becomes relentless and VERY uncomfortable.
