I've been approximately 10 years on hydrocodone acetaminophen 10-500. It now has been changed to Hydrocodone-acetaminophen 10-325 without any consultation. What would be the reason for the change and will it attack the pain the same? Thank you. The FDA has even taken action to withdraw the approval for prescription meds that have more than 325 mg tylenol. The decrease in tylenol may or may not make any difference to you. I am super scared... I have taken a total of 17 hydrocodone 10/300 today. I read (afterward) that 90mg of hydrocone is lethal. I have tried to make myself vomit to get the last pills out, but I cant tell if what is coming up is a dissolved pill or just mucus. I dont want to die!! I dont know what to do. My daughter has been taking hydrocodone 5/325 every 4 hrs since Thurs afternoon. 24 hrs ago, her dr moved it to every 6 hrs, and she took her last one at 615pm last night (it's now 1250a). Personally, I think you should be upfront with your doctor about what happened, having misplaced the bottle. The main reason I say this is because I think they do have the ability to tell what levels of medication should be in your system vs how much isn't there. I have a right below the knee amputation due to a land mine that happened in 1968, have never needed pain meds up until 2 to 3 years ago at which time my doc prescribed hydroc/apap 10-650 mg--formerly lortab.Now it has been changed to the same thing only in a 10-325 mg which from what I have been told was due to a change in the law Jan 2014-the 10-650 did a fair job if I oook one every 4 hrs of course the 10-325 do not seem to help very much, have about a 8 out of ten on the pain chart. 5/300 is 1/3 the price of 5/325 of hydrocodone acetaminophen at the pharmacy. Does the pain relief compare and is it worth the difference in price? i have a prescription from my pain management doctor for norco 10-325 but it has been on back order each time ive tried to have it filled at not only my pharmacy Rite Aide but other major pharmacy's have also been unable to fill my prescription is their any reason for this or is there any suggestion's ## Two things are possible. One, when it was reclassified as a Schedule II the bottles the pharmacy's had were sent back to the manufacturer. It is possible they are running short or don't have any. Second, this time of year it is not unusual for Schedule II meds to become very hard to find or not be able to find them at all.
