My doctor changed my medication from Lortab 7.5 500 to Norco 7.5 325, but now i'm super sleepy for about 2 hours now. Any answers ? ## It might be a slight withdrawal effect, due to the lower amount of Acetaminophen, because it potentiates the Hydrocodone. It usually takes about a week or so, for your body to adjust. However, if it continues past that, or worsens, you should consult your doctor. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Its been about 1 1/2 months, but I just found out. The lower the apap the higher Hydrocodone, that's what's make me sleepy now. If you take 1 tylenol with it - it reduces the...

I AM VERY ALLERGIC TO NORCO AND THE BOTTLE READS MFG WATSON AND THE PILL IS WHITE OVAL WITH SCORE ACROSS CENTER ON ONE SIDE AND WATSON 3203 ON THE OTHER. IS THIS THE TRUE LORTAB? I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE WITH PLAIN OLD LORTAB SO HOPE THIS IS NOT A GENERIC. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. ## WATSON 3203 contains Hydrocodone 7.5 mg/Acetaminophen 325 mg. Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen are both in Lortab. Lortab is the Brand Name. ## Yes, the ones with the WATSON 3203 marking on them are a generic, just as BL has stated. The name brand Lortab uses the ucb logo on them, with numbers on the opposite sides. Learn more Lortab details here. But these are the same ingredients that are in Norco, so if you're allergic to one, you should also be allergic to Lortab, Vicodin and the generics. What typ...

I have a right below the knee amputation due to a land mine that happened in 1968, have never needed pain meds up until 2 to 3 years ago at which time my doc prescribed hydroc/apap 10-650 mg--formerly lortab. Now it has been changed to the same thing only in a 10-325 mg which from what I have been told was due to a change in the law Jan 2014-the 10-650 did a fair job if I oook one every 4 hrs of course the 10-325 do not seem to help very much, have about a 8 out of ten on the pain chart. My wife was given Oxycod/ap 5-325 when she had Cancer surgery, I have taken some of the leftovers and can go 8 to 10 hrs without much pain at all. Can you tell me if they still made this or something equal to it or even the 10-650 lortab that is easily avaviable? Thanks!!1 ## The tylenol in all prescript...

Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. My doctor changed mine as well due to the affects on the liver. I understand the hesitation. When he changed mine I wasn't thrilled either, but I'm a creature of habit & dislike change in routines. I'm uncomfortable when my generics are from another company & look different than I normally take. I promise, it's the same 10 mg of hydrocodone. Both Lortab & Norco contain the same active ingredients: acetaminop...

oblong white with M369. Could you please tell me the strength? ## that should be 7.5/650 ## Was the marking possibly M 359? if so, the prior response is correct, however, it should be noted that tablets with this amount of Acetaminophen have been removed from the market. The FDA now limits these combination prescription products to containing no more than 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such a nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Is there anything I can help with?

which is stronger hydrocodone 7.5/500mg oxycodone-acetaminophen 5-325 ## About the same as oxycodone is about 1.5 times stronger than hydrocodone. ## Regarding the analgesic effect, using a dose conversion, they are actually equivalent. Thus, it would really be a matter of finding out which one is more effective for you, since not every medication works for everyone that tries it. Since these are both narcotics, there is a chance that they could be habit forming and you may experience side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Which has been recommended for you? You can learn more Lortab details here. does lortab make a 10/325mg pill now the law has changed ## Lortab is not the name of a manufacturer, it was just the brand name for a medication that contained Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. And yes, there are 10/325 doses that are still being made. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is Lortab the brand name for Hydrocodone 7.5/325? Or is it Norco, Vicodin, or what? ## The one with 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen would be a generic for Norco, it's the only name brand that has that strength available. However, in most cases they are all just used interchangeable, as long as the medication contains those 2 active ingredients, so you may hear or see it being referred to as any one of the 3. Learn more Norco details here. Many doctors just write the prescriptions as Vicodin and then designate the dosage, because the pharmacy will dispense the correct ones and disregard that they may have used the wrong brand name. Is it, in fact, 10/325??? ## i ran out of mu usuall watson big like oval bklue tens and i got this through a buddy.. is it in fact the same thing?? i dont want to take it if not ## Yes, this tablet is Hydrocodone 10mgs and Acetaminophen 325mgs. However, if you are running out early, then apparently your pain is not in control and rather than getting meds illegally from someone else, you should see your doctor to see what you can do to better treat your condition. ## I too have always taken the blue pill which is lortab 10/500..and recently I had to go to a different pharmacy and they gave me a white tablet..and it say M363 on one side the other is plain..they said it is the same as the ...

Are the doses for Lortab and Hydrocodone identical? I.E.: does 5/325 Hydrocodone = 5/325 Lortab, etc? ## Hello, Chris! How are you? Yes, they both contain Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, so they are the same. There are several different brand names for this combination medication, some of them are Lortab, Vicodin, Norco and Lorcet. The lower number (5) is the amount of the narcotic Hydrocodone that's in it and the higher number (325) is the amount of Acetaminophen. Learn more Lortab details here. are Lortabs still in use? My pharmicist said they were no longer made. ## The FDA has asked dr to no longer prescribe it with 500 mg acetaminophen but instead to use the mandated reduced 325 mg acetaminophen. The FDA has also asked pharmacists to contact the drs if a rx is written for the 500 mg before filling it. The hydrocodone and acetaminophen (Lortab, Vicodin, Norco) are still made. But, the amount of acetaminophen has been reduced. ## So can you take a Tylenol to get the same results since they lowered it to 325? I'm so used to the 500 and it just isn't the same ## Talk to your dr first. The new recommendation from the FDA is not to exceed 3,000 mg of tylenol in a 24 hr period. ## It isn't that the FDA has asked them to no longer prescribe the higher amounts, they'...

Hi I was getting the yellow 10 mlg that say v 3601 but now I have the same pill except it's white instead of yellow. Is this the same pill please help! Thanks. ## White tablet, v 3601 is Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg ## I haven't seen this in white yet, however, many companies have recently been removing the dye in their tablets, due to the problems some people have had with being sensitive to, or allergic to the dyes being used. Learn more Lortab details here. However, if you received it from a legitimate pharmacy in the U.S. and the marking is the same, then it is probably safe to assume that the dye has just been removed. i just starting them and yhey do not work like my lartabs did i have a lot of pain when i toke the lartabs i had no pain ## Hello, George! How are you? Sorry that you're in pain. What dosage was the Lortab that you were taking? Most of them have a lower dose of Acetaminophen in them now, which could explain why it isn't helping your pain as much. You may need a dosage adjustment or to switch to a different medication. Have you consulted your doctor?

oval pill with red dots on them. Pill says watson ## I am assuming there is some other marking on the tablet, in addition to the Watson? To positively identify it, I will need the complete marking. If its Watson 3202, it contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Lortab, a narcotic pain reliever. ## Ive been told that the red specks .are caffeine ## I was wondering if any one knows what the red specks r exactly. I've been switched from my medications for back pain and got the 5/325 norco which is watson on one side n the 3202 on the other with red specks of course. Is Hydrocodone Apap 10/325 good for pain? ## That would be the narcotic Hydrocodone, and 10mgs is the most you can get these in, and Acetaminophen 325mgs, A narcotic analgesic. The APAP is just doc and pharmacy speak for Acetaminophen, sometimes these are prescribed to have the Aceta help with pain and inflammation, otherwise, it pretty much just helps them keep the drug on a prescription controlled substance schedule III or IV. There are considered generics for meds such as Anexsia, Hydrocet, Lortab and many others. Hydo and Apap Info Click Here

Sorry about the pain that you're in. The two ingredients are 7.5mgs of the narcotic Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. white oval, what milligram? ## What milligram is the Watson Lortab is 385 ? Does anyone know? ## 500 mg Acetaminophen, 7.5 mg Hydrocodone ## The dosage as listed by Jason is correct, so thanks go out to him! This is a generic for Lortab or Vicodin, as a narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Another note I'd like to add is that as of the time I'm posting, the FDA has requested that all of these combination prescription medications be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen, due to the dangers of liver damage/failure that can be associated with long-term use and the toxicity of overdose. Is lortab 10 / 325 weaker than lortab 10 / 500 ## Hello, Jim! How are you? Yes and no, the amount of Acetaminophen in it is lower and the ones with the higher doses are no longer available. This medication was changed and all formulations that are now available can only contain a maximum of 325mgs of Acetaminophen per dose. However, the Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic for some people, so the one with the higher amount of it may work better for them, but it doesn't work that way for everyone, so for some people these might basically be equivalent, since they both contain 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, d...
