What is it used for? ## This one is a little hard to find information on, it is apparently a foreign drug, not available in the US, so it isn't in any of the regular databases. Are flucess and diflucan basically the same? Since they both contain fluconazole 150g ## Yes, and both are used to eradicate, or treat fungal infections. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, flatulence, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

my mother was taking this tab FLUCESS what is it used for-she eventaully passed away one month ago and has more in the cupboard-can you tell me what it was used for and now if i should discard it or maybe any other family member can use it-please advise me-i was not around when she died--an early reply would be appreciated-thank you-please donot charge me ## Flucess contains the active ingredient Fluconazole, it is primary used to treat fungal infections, such as vaginal yeast infections. I am not sure what the regulations are there for the proper disposal of medications, or if you can give them to another family member. I'd suggest checking with a pharmacist/chemist. I've been prescribed Flucess by a Caribbean physician for a recent yeast infection and it works. In just three days the burning when I pee and irritation and discharge has been minimized by at least 70% with a prescription of 3 capsules that were to be taken every other day. My husband was even treated just to minimize transfer again. Hope this helps. ## I have also been prescribed flucess by a carribean doctor. I am on my second week of treatment. However I don't see any improvement as yet.

I have an yeast infectiom for abour three monthns...yesterday i got a flucess 150mg capsule n i took it in the morninh....I ate some macaroni n cheese with an boil egg...now someone is telling me that i shouldnt have taken any dairy products n now im worryinh?? Wat will happen to me? ## Hello, Kera! How are you? It isn't dangerous to do so, it can just affect how much of the medication your body absorbs, so you may need another dose of it, if the yeast infection doesn't clear up. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have thsi infection for almost two year now and I have been to doctor several time about it, and there is no changes When I pee it burn and give me this smelling odour, even when I just had my showe it still smell, The discharge is very white and smelling fishy..... It pain a lot to pee and there is blood when I pee...
