i know avaibiity of duexis(Ibuprofen+famotidine) worldwide, its manufactured by horizon pharma USA. ## I'm sorry, I know i t was approved by the U.S. FDA in April of this year, however, I don't know where else it is available. This combination is recommended to treat arthritis pain, the Famotidine in it is used to help prevent some of the problems that can occur from long-term use of the Ibuprofen. Does this pill help anyone produce a bowel movement? I swear I have to go within 30 minutes of every time I take this pill. I have been on famotidine for about 6 weeks and the one side effect ringing in the ears are horrible. The ringing is so loud, I'm thinking of not taking it anymore. ## Hello, Kathy! How are you doing? Has there been any change? The FDA does list that as a possible side effect of this medication, along with nausea, flatulence, and dizziness. Have you informed your medical provider? There are other antacids that you can try to see if they may work better for you.

I have a prescription of Famotidine dated 02/06/06. I wonder if they are still usable? ## Not in the US. Most prescriptions are generally only good for up to a year, but most pharmacies will not take them past a few months. ## If the medicine has crossed the expiry date,pl. throw it. In India, the expiry date for Femotidine is three years from the date of manufacture.
