Hello, I'm a 36 yr old male, my doctor advised me to take ecosprin 75 mg, Enace-D5 - and tonact TG 20 daily, as my lipid profile test results were as follows: cholesterol serum/plasma-340*, HDL-38*, total cholesterol ratio (calculated) 8.9*, triglycerides-160*, LDL-270* and B.P is 170/100. Please tell me about the medicine and whether those are safe for me or not. ## I am age 65, male. Small round pill with the letter D on top with a line through the middle and the number 5 underneath. It appears to be white but I am not 100% sure of the colour. ## Hi Stacey, This question has been addressed in another thread regarding the same pill: My additional research also is in agreement (with the link above) that this pill is likely a 5mg Diazepam that is manufactured in Ireland. My Doctor gave this to me. Its a free sample of a pain cream for the tendons in my wrists (I think she said I could also use it on my back for my scoliosis). HOW FAST CAN D5LR BE RUN, WHEN USING FOR HYDRATION ## Based on my research, the IV fluid (known as "D5 Lactated Ringers Solution", or D5LR) has an infusion rate of 125 ml/hr when using it for hydration. The drug monograph goes on to state that the 5% Dextrose in D5LR can also be useful for daily maintenance of fluid and nutrition...& in-turn promoting rehydration.
