What Is Cobalt Pill

Have found this round light yellow pill in my home and would like to identify. It is round with the logo of Cobalt on the back ('V' shape) and DZ underscored with 5 beneath. ## Are you in Canada? This is not listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases and with it having the DZ on it, I was suspicious that it may be Diazepam, a generic for Valium, but it doesn't appear that Cobalt manufactures it and their website doesn't list the markings on their pills, just the drug names that they manufacture and their name brand equivalent. You may be able to call them and ask what it is, if you are in Canada, they list their number as 905-815-1820. If you get an answer, could you please post back and let us know what it is? ## Hey there i just found exactly the same pill in my ho...

Have an oval white pill with "AV 20" on one side and an arrow pointing to the left on the other. Wondering what this is ## Hello, Jonny! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Pharma, though formerly by Cobalt and they list it as containing 20mgs of Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches. Is there anything else I can help with?

I found these white oval shaped pills I have already identified that on one side of the pill has the imprint of the logo Cobalt like a little arrow shape imprint. On the other side it's scored and has a capital E and the number one. I have no idea what this is. Can someone please help?

It has a big m then a line and another m or its a couple of big Ws.....anyhow the other side has a v design that is like a thick white drawn v like V V...if they were closer together and were attached ...it's big and white like a percocet ## A white round pill marked with "M M" one side and the colbalt pharma logo (a thick version of this ">") on the other side, is said to be a Canadian brand of Metformin hydrochloride (500 mg); which is an oral anti-diabetic drug. Because this is not a definitive match, I would still recommend confirming this ID with the manufacturer via the link below: cobaltpharma.com/en/productlist.asp Learn More: Metformin Details If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you.

Found a small white pill with M on both sides. Just trying to identify it ## The closest match I could find to this is a white round pill about the size of a tylenol with the imprint "M M" on one side and a cobalt logo on the other side; this being Metformin (500 mg), from Canada. Does this sound like it could be a match? If not, I'm thinking that it may have been either discontinued or is not available in the US. One thing you can do is take the pill over to your local pharmacy and see if they have any particular way of testing for ingredients. Unfortunately there's not much else you can do in a situation where the pill is manufactured outside of the U.S, unless you have a way to contact the manufacturer or the source where you got it from.
