## My husband was recently put on this medication for his blood pressure. Since taking it he has lost 40 pounds in a month, his skin is pale, he has to eat tons of fiber and laxatives to have a bowel movement, he is anxious, he has no appetitie, and he sleeps almost instantly after taking it. This is not near all of the side effects that he has experienced from taking this medication. When he called his physician his physician told him that he may have to reduce his dosage. Reduce his dosage? ! Get him off of this medication, it is killing him ! I have never seen my husband so weak, so thin, so pale. He says he feels like he is dying. Hello everyone Happy New Year, i am a 27 year old male and I been taking quite a turn in my life. I just recently quit using marijuana. i was using it for 6 years of my life, and I been dealing with bad anxiety for a long long time. I've also been taking prescription Clonazepam for about a year now 0.5MG's a day. My body is not the same as it use to be I wish I never picked up a joint in my life. Now I recently developed hypertension not high im just at the pre stage. My doctor prescribed me Clonodine HCL 0.1MG a day once a day at bedtime but i take in the morning because my anxiety and symptoms r so bad. Hello, I am on clonidine hcl 0.2 mg. twice a day. I started on the Mylan brand and only took it for one month. Then I went to a different drug store and they gave me the Actavis brand. I have been taking the Actavis brand a few months now, but it seemed like the Mylan was better. I just got a new perscription of the Mylan brand again and just took my first pill. Can you all tell me which of these two brands of clonidine hcl work best for you or if you can tell any difference. After I am on the Mylan again for awhile I will post here again and let you know if it is really better then the Actavis. Is the Aurobindo version of Clonidine HCL (0.2mg) gluten-free? ## Aurobindo lists the inactive ingredients of their Clonidine 0.2 mg (NDC 59651-233) as including: Corn starch, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, microcystalline cellulose 101, polysorbate 80. D&C Yellow 10, FD&C Blue #1. So, it looks like it is gluten free, but please be aware that inactive ingredients may change in the future. Ref: DailyMed ## It's kind of sad that I haven't gotten a definitive answer yet from this manufacturer. I had to start taking this rx 3 days ago. I just went with what the pharmacist found in the paperwork of the product.

I'm a 38 yr old black female and I recently decided to start a family. I was taking losartan 100mg daily, clonidine HCL 0.2mg twice daily, and hctz 25mg daily to control my blood pressure.
