Is it true the c1 clonazepam doesn't work? I've been on them for a long time and always got the green tevas. This is the first time they've been given to me. I take them for epilepsy and anxiety. I've been taking clonazapam for 17 yrs now for my epilepsy! This last visit with my Neurologist went sour, due to the abuse of clonazapam he discontinued my medicine treating me as if I was nothing. Well I started seizing and went to get help in the er, the doctor said they don't prescribe this type of drug in the er. I'm in tears. I've threatened suicide and still received no help and that's when I thought my world was falling apart. I have never in my life abused this medication nor have they had any positive results of abusing this medication, I hate and I know its wrong to insinuate that someone is misusing a medication. I used to be prescribed 4 mg of clonazepam daily for 2 years for anxiety and pannic attacks by a wonderful and empathetic doctor. After the 2 years, his clinic switched to inpatient only and I had to find a new doctor. My new psychiatrist does not believe benzodiazepines should be taken along with methadone and openly considers me a drug seeker. She wont even meet with me for more than 20 minutes before hurrying me out the door (usually with a script for a medicine I don't want or need.) Met an older new Doctor today. He was very aware Xanax is poison, especially on the way out during a withdrawal. In fact he says it is the worst in its class. Refreshing to hear that, true or not! Doctor mentioned Klonopin works almost the same. I have a huge supply of Xanax right now and I told him that. I also mentioned I almost died during an unsuccessful switch to Ativan.
