Hello, I have had my wisdom teeth pulled out seven days ago and was given a hydrocodone acetaminophen prescription along with the antibiotics and ibuprofen. It says on the hydrocodone pill bottle that I need to take 1-2 pills every six hours for pain. Well, being the i**** that I am, I take one whenever the pain hits me and the time intervals are greater than six. I woke up at two in the morning with pain, so I went to take a pill and then slept again. It is now seven in the morning, about five hours after taking the medicine, and my lungs are burning. I am terrified. I read on the bottle that side effects include trouble breathing and decided to deal with the pain rather than take the medication again. Or it could be something else and I am just making a big deal out of it? (I hope so!...

I took Lipitor 15 years ago for 1.5 years. It felt like somebody was burning the spot below my big toe on my right foot. It was happening for a while and I didn't realize that Lipitor was causing it. One day I just decided to stop it and the burning went away. Then again I started taking Lipitor after 15 days to see whether it is causing the problem .Sure enough the burning sensation started again and I knew then that the culprit is Lipitor. Ok. I am at my end and trying to find someone who knows a dr that will take a new patient. I have herniated discs in my neck that pinch a nerve and create horrible pain and burning in my hands. I have 2 small children and work in a career that requires me to use my hands and back 90% of the time. I've had to stop working because of this and I'm at my wits end with all of this. I use a new marry Kay night serum now one side. of my face is all red and wellped up. it stings like it's on fire and is itchy and sensitive to touch. benadryl and hydrocortisone cream aren't. working if you have any suggestions I would realty appreciate it. ## With the stinging, it seems like it may have caused some skin burning and, if that is the case, then no, the creams you're trying won't help, because they are intended to treat straight allergic reactions. Have you tried anything like an aloe vera cream, or something intended to treat sunburn? Learn more aloe vera details here. Infection is a big concern, if it burned the skin as I suspect, thus I strongly encourage you to see a doctor, as you may need an antibiotic.

I've been taking lyrica 75mg 3x day which was prescribed by my physiatrist concurrently w/ Cymbalta 30mg. Great combination for me. They seem to work together. Lyrica relieved me ot debilitating neuropathic pain, burning & tingling, in feet, calves, sacroiliac, and intense aches in shins, thighs, head & neck, all associated w spinal stenosis, lumbar & cervical (neck). Before that I was taking opiates & cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxant for associated leg cramps, like Charlie horse type). When I became allergic to the cyclobenzaprine, I was switched to Valium.
