What Is Bactrim 500 Mg Used For

Learn more Levaquin details here. ## I took levofloxacin 500mg for 5 days when I woke up on the sixth day my legs, knees, fingers, face, feet were swollen and in horrific pain. This medicine should be banned. Its very toxic. Its been three days since I took the last dose and most swelling has went down. The pain is still bad even after taking my pain meds. I have arthritis and before taking this drug it was tolerable. Now it isn't. The pain is in every joint in my body and I have to work tomorrow. The makers of this drug should be sued.

my tongue is red, swollen, looks like deep lines or cracks in it. very irritated and most foods dont even have a taste just burn or numbness. was wondering if it could be caused by any of these new meds the Dr. recently put me on. they are, Sulfamethoxazole-TMPDS tablets, Clindamycin HCL 100 MG capsules,or Nabumetone 500 MG tablet ## My tongue is bright red... Six months ago I had the staph infection MERSA. Three lesions were surgically treated and I was on bactrim for three weeks.The results were successful. One week ago I indicated to my internist,who was completely aware of the prior condition and treatment, that I had a supect growth on my rear. Upon examination he doubted that the infection was a repeat , did not suggest surgery but did prescribe ciprofloxacin 500 mg for a period of 10 days. In another city four days latter I beleived that that the growth had increased. Went to a large city hospital's emergency room were the senior specialist recommended lancing.That was done and I left with a perscription for sulfameth/trimethoprim 800/600 to be taken over ten days. I'm on the suboxone program and I gave a UA today and it came out positive. For what.... Idk. They don't say, they just send it to the lab. I take a series of medications like Keppra 1000mg, metformin 500mg and ibuprofen 800, but along with those the only new things i started taking are Bactrim DS 800/160 mg, clindamycin 300mg and hydrocortisone cream USP 1%... Can any of these cause a false positive?
