alcohol use with amox tr k clv 500 125 mg tab
What are the side effects or problems when using alcohol and dairy products with Amox Tr-K Clv 500-125 mg tabs? ## Hi Robert, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between amoxicillin clavulanate potassium and the use of alcohol or dairy products. So in that regard you should be fine taking the two together in moderation. However, it is equally important to know that these types of drugs can effect each person differently, whereas potential side effects may still arise just from using the medication in and of itself. If you don't know how your body reacts to the combination alcohol and antibiotics, it may be wise to lessen your consumption of it for the duration of your treatment. Sometimes the use of alcohol can increase the drowsiness that is often associated... ...

Amox Tr K Clv Chronic Headache Side Effect
HI! I've been using Amox Tr Clv 825-125 for my strep throat and ive been suffering from a very severe chronic headache side affect anybody got any advice for me ## From what I could gather, headaches are in-fact listed as a side effect of Amoxicillin + Clavulanate Potassium. If this medication just isn't agreeing with your body, my honest opinion would be to either go for a different antibiotic or try a natural alternative to help remedy the infection. For starters, natural raw honey can help sooth your throat of phlegm, mucous, and irritation from coughing. I believe raw honey also has potent antibacterial properties to aid in your treatment. Perhaps having a nice warm mug of green tea with raw honey in it would be quite beneficial. You might also want to stay away from dairy p... ...

amox tr k clv 875 125mg and Advil Cold & Sinus medication together?
I am on my first day of amox tr k clv 875-125 mg for a ten day course to treat a cold. The runny nose and coughing is making it hard to sleep and get the needed rest. Can I take Advil Cold and Sinus medication while taking Amox Tr K CLV 875-125 mg? Thanks. ## Hello, Jay! How are you feeling? Sorry that you're sick. However, this is an antibiotic and will do nothing to treat a cold. Antibiotics are only effective against bacteria and a cold is caused by a virus. And actually, taking it when it is not appropriate and needed could cause you to develop antibiotic resistant bacteria. Did your doctor prescribe it? And no, the antibiotic shouldn't be taken with the Ibuprofen in the Advil Cold & Sinus, because they can both increase the available levels of the other in your body, wh... ...

DOES THE DRUG Amox Tr K Clv CAUSE SEVERS HEADACHES
I have been using the medication for 5 days now to treat sinus infection and have developed a severe pain that starts in the back right side of my head when I cough. It is a extremely sharp pain. Is it caused by the medication. ## Hi Paul, Based on my research, headaches are listed as a general side effect of Amoxicillin. I wasn't aware of how severe they could be though. If it's too bothersome I'd definitely urge you to contact your doctor as soon as possible to find a solution. He/she may have you switch over to another antibiotic in the meantime. How many days are you prescribed it for? To my understanding, most antibiotics are only taken for around 7-10 days, depending on the severity of the infection. If you only have a day or two left, would you try to wait it out? You... ...
