I have an amneal pha pill, Smg / TMP DS 800- 160m. I was just diagnosed with chlamydia and came in for a recheck due to a symptom coming back. I have the feeling of a sore throat and I think its from doing oral with my partner. Will taking this pill help with my throat at least until my results come back from my doc? ## It will only help, if your sore throat is due to a bacterial infection, of some type. It is an antibiotic. Inappropriate use risks your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Additionally, it won't do anything to alleviate the pain and soreness. As to Amneal Pharma, not they do not offer an assistance program for their products, because they are a generic drug manufacturer. Most generic drugs, which are already cheaper than name brands, do not have assistance programs. The assistance programs are generally only offered for the name brand medications. Could you tell me if the metaformin er 500 mg is gluten free? The tablet has IP 178 imprinted on it. ## Hi Melany, Based on my research, Amneal's 500mg Metformin hydrochloride ER tablets imprinted with IP 178, reportedly contain the following set of inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide + hypromellose + magnesium stearate + microcrystalline cellulose However, gluten as well as gluten derivatives do not appear to be listed here, so you should be safe in that regard. The medicine in xanax is alprazolam, it is a benzodiazepine. The oval pink pill w ip53 on it is an ssri antidepressant ## Michelle is correct about the incorrect brand name and our editors have noted that in the original post. Just to clear up any confusion - the tablet being described is in fact Citalopram 20mg manufactured by Amneal pharmaceuticals. NDC # 65162-053. It is indeed classified as an SSRI antidepressant.

I have been taking hydrocodone 10-325 (made by Watson) for about a year. I picked up my prescription yesterday and instead of the normal yellow pill, I received a white oblong pill imprinted with m367 on it. I took 2 for breakthrough pain and had no relief what-so-ever. I called the pharmacy and was told that they will no longer be able to get the med from Watson. Does anyone know what has happened? So I live in Virginia and I have been on the orange pill (Buprenorphine made by Amneal) for almost two years now and the reason being because that's all I can afford. But now none of the pharmacies have them and what they do have cost $600 bucks or more and I can't afford that. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do? Can you recommend anything? This is in reference to Amneal Pharmaceutical's "7.5/325" Oxycodone, the label which also reads in part: "*7.5 mg oxycodone HCI, USP is equivalent to 6.7228 mg of oxycodone" without explaining what that means. CVS switched my brand last month and claim that all brands are the same strength. NOT SO, according to the level of pain and everyone who is in pain knows that pain does no lie. I'm changing from Armour Thyroid to generic Levothyroxine. Any feedback as to the quality of the manufacturer, Amneal? I have celiac and started taking spironolactone by amneal pharma, but i am not feeling well on it. Can you tell me if it is gluten free? ## Spironolactone by Amneal (50mg) totally "glutened" me. Amneal told me that it does not contain gluten - but I'm guessing there is some cross contamination or an ingredient from another supplier that has hidden gluten. I went off it and felt better. HAS IP 119 MANUFACTURED BY AMNEAL P BEEN RECALLED? ## IP 119 is actually manufactured by Interpharm, that's what the IP stands for and I can't find any information regarding a recall of this product. This tablet contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it is a generic for Vicodin, a narcotic pain reliever.
