I Need to know if amlodepine is a blood thinner? I am having a hip injection for pain and they want to know. I am not sure. ## No, it is a calcium channel blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

Regardless of strength, there are two materials in a capsule of generic Amlodepine/Benzapril. There is a small pill and powder in the capsule. Which one is the Amlodepine? ## Which specific capsules are asking about? Do you know who the manufacturer is, or the markings on the capsules? The manufacturing processed and thus the answer may possibly vary from one company to another, since they aren't require to all manufacture in the same manner and have completely identical products. My sugar level not coming to normal level inspite of taking these medicines reguarly. Please advise should I change or add more medicine to keep my Blood Ssurgar in normal level. ## Hello, Kondodi! How are you? What types of foods do you eat? Anything sweet, including fruits will elevated your blood sugar. Additionally, anything high in fat coats the cells, so they can't absorb sugar to burn for energy, which also causes blood sugar elevations. So, the best diet for a diabetic is one that's very low in sugar and fat. Another question is: How much exercise do you get? This is also anoth...

I have been taking the following medicines: Amlodepine 5mg + lisinopril 5 mg Gliclazide 80mg+ metformin 500 mg Sizopin 100mg Azona 40 mg I want to know can I take these medicines together. Or any interval is required to take the medicines ## @ kckarukachal, I'm surprised that your doctor has you on this many medications. Since they're all used for similar purposes I knew there were bound to be some complications, but I didn't suspect quite as many as I had found. Based on my research, there are several potentially dangerous drug interactions between most of the medications you mentioned. The frustrating part is, doctors are completely aware of these interactions and still hand out more prescriptions without letting people know of the risks involved.... *Using Clozapine and A...
