What Is A White Powder

Hello, I found these very strange clear tiny glass capsules with white powder in them, and I can't identify what it is. Here's what I do know: the capsules have numbers on them, and the only other marking is on the black cap that has a little heart rate symbol on it. They come in around a 12 pack with just a white container, no name, markings, or anything. It's very similar to what BIO-tropin, the steroid thats injected, comes in. However, the white powdery substance on the inside is almost stuck together; if i try flipping the capsule over the powder doesnt fall to the bottom, which is different than the BIO-tropin which is a loose consistency. The last piece of info is that the bottle appears to not be able to open, like BIO-tropin, where it has an area under the cap to stick

its a thin, clear capsule, white powder, no imprint, nothing to tell me what medication it is. ## Clear capsule appears white from powder inside no imprint ## Sorry, if there is no imprint, there is no way to positively identify it, unless you would have it lab tested. ## Possibly Niacin, Vitamin B-3, one of a few unmarked white capsules. It's used by the body as a co-enzyme for energy metabolism. Supposedly helps nervous, digestive, and cardiovascular systems. Used widely for drug detoxifications, increased metabolism... ## people r starting to bring 30 mg oxycodone up from florida in a capsule form with no imprint. they r being made right in the pharmacy.. if u found one in your teens room.. have them take a test... stop it early b4 it becomes a major problem. drugs kill ## Just f...

this capsule has no identifying marks ## Hello, Duby! How are you? If there are no markings, then we can rule it out as being a prescription medication, since they are required by law to have markings to enable their identification. The only exception would be something done by a compounding pharmacy, but they use plain capsules. That means that this is most likely an over the counter product. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

Is there white powder in 20mg orange capsules n does it taste sweet or numbing ## Hi Cidd, Based on my research, there is an orange capsule imprinted with "M. Amphet Salts 20 mg", that is identified as Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine ER (20 mg). NOTE: This particular pill is Manufactured by Global Pharmaceuticals However I'm not one to know what it might taste like or look like on the inside, so hopefully this verification is enough in and of itself. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Amphetamine-Dextroamphetamine Details I hope this helps!

About 3/4 inches dark brown almost black powder. White capsule. ## Hi Brynn, I see that no one has been able to find an ID for this pill yet. Whereabouts did you obtain it from if you don't mind my asking? The description seems to fit that of a typical dietary or herbal supplement of some sort. However, without a marking this could really be anyone's best guess. Have you considered getting the contents analyzed by a lab for verification? I would assume that this would be the best way to determine what it is, being that there are no other traceable-variables to go off of like you'd find on normal prescriptions (at least here in the US).

found half a capsule on floor after landlord came in ## With only a partial capsule and partial imprint, it is going to be difficult to determine what it may contain. There are many possibilities, both over the counter and among prescription medications. Have you tried just asking him about it?

blue and white capsule no markings, with reddish brown powder inside. ## If there are no markings, it may be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, but it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. I will keep looking into this to see if I can find an identification. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Found blue capsule with no marking and white powder inside that has no taste to it. Do you have any clue as to what this is? ## I was given one of the same pills and I do not know what it is? I am perscribed roxies and I ran out and thats what a friend gave me? ## If there are no markings on it, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what it contains. We can rule it out as being a manufactured U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have a unique imprint to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products, or even a foreign medication. Does anyone else have any ideas what this is?

the powder is white in a clear capsule ## oblong, clear capsule with white powder inside. No imprint on the capsule ## Is there any more information you can give me? I am unable to locate your pill without any imprints or markings. Please post back so I can help you further. ## I found a small clear capsule with a very fine white powder in it! Can ANYONE tell me what it is??? NO markings on the capsule either! ## Well I'm not sure where you found it and in all honesty it could be any number of things but there is a possibility that it is m.d.m.a. I have seen the pure form of E sold like this its possible its something else but if there are no markings on the capsule its proably not a prescription drug since perscription drugs are required to have some form or identification on them....

Went for walk on county rd 2 miles out of town. Found clear capsules filled with white powder. Found about 20 capsules full of this white powder, just thrown on the side of the road! Worried about children finding them. Started to pick them up, and just throw them away. But decided to call local Police. They took the pills and said there wasn't much they could do. They will throw them away. ## If they follow proper police procedure, they will destroy them, before disposing of them, the fact that there isn't much they can do is correct. Losing a stash of pills somewhere isn't a crime. And, without any markings on them, it would be very difficult to determine what they may contain. They could have them lab tested, but going to that expense, without any criminal investigation i...

There arent any prescription markings on it. Its a big pill almost plastic like, I found it on my bed after my after my boyfriend left. Im guessing its from one of his friends. Ive never known of him taking pills or any drugs so I'm really puzzled. Any ideas? ## If it has no markings, then it's most likely something that's available over the counter. From the description, my best guess would be that it's a supplement of some type. Have you tried asking him about it? Does anyone recognize this? ## I found the same pills hidden in my son's room. At first I thought they might be an illegal drug...but I've never known him to be like that and I had not noticed any behavior changes. Upon further investigation...I found that it was a penile enhancement pill that can be ...

blue and white capsule with no writing on it but it was filled with dark green powder ..what is it? ## Without a marking to identify it by, this could literally be anything from A to Z. However given the pill description I would lean toward some sort of OTC dietary supplement; maybe even a pre/post-workout related capsule, as these tend to have no markings but also bear a unique appearance that may be similar to this (at least some that I've taken in the past). But despite anyone's best efforts here, the only way to truly verify what it is would probably be to have its contents analyzed by a lab. If you don't mind me asking, whereabouts did you get it from?

Found a clear capsule with white powder in it with a sort of peanutbutter smell to it ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what this contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription product, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. However, that still leaves several possibilities, it could be something that was specially ordered and done by a compounding pharmacy, it could be an over the counter product, or a foreign medication. Where was it found? Does anyone else have any ideas?

I found a blue and white capsule with a tan/off white powder inside. The blue part of the capsule has indentations around it. The capsule is pretty large, bigger than a multi-vitamin size. It is encased in a small, plastic cylinder that opens. There are no markings on the capsule. Any ideas on what this is? ## It sounds like some sort of herbal compound and/or a dietary supplement. I actually used to take pre-workout capsules that were similar in description; but since there's no markings on this, it could literally be anyone's best guess. If I were you I'd consider having its contents analyzed by a lab in order to know for certain. However if the cost of doing so isn't justifiable then perhaps safely disposing of it would be the only feasible recourse. I think this is j...

Is this actually generic Ritalin? I have looked online everywhere and since there is no other imprint I've had no luck.. Please help! ## Based on my research, there aren't any Ritalin capsules (of any dosage) that come close to this description. Where did you get the pill from? It sounds to me like an illicit, foreign, or fake tablet; for if it were real and US made, you would at least be able to Google it. However I'm not sure if other countries also make this brand of methylphenidate. Has anyone else come across this pill? ## Get a drug panel from CVS - one wth amphetamines. Add some of the powder & some luke warm water to see if it comes up as an amphetamine.

I have a white capsule that has brown powder on the inside and no markings. It's a brownish red powder on the inside. What can it be? ## Hi Chasidy, Just out of curiosity, whereabouts did you get your pill from? Knowing its origin may provide helpful clues for narrowing down prospective pill ID's. Also, does the brownish/red powder have any sort of smell to it? Certain herbal supplements have distinct (recognizable) odors. Unfortunately, without the verification of a lab analysis, a pill with no markings could turn out to be anyone's best guess... One thing's for sure though, and that is, the FDA doesn't approve any US prescription drugs that do not have an imprint or marking of some kind for reference. Having said this, I can only assume that the pill itself may be ...

I let my uncle stay in a camper behind my house. when he moved out i found a clear and white pill with greenish powder on the inside and it has no markings. ## If there are no markings, it is most likely an over the counter product. All manufactured prescription medications in the U.S. are required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The only exception would be if it were something specially ordered by a doctor and made by a compounding pharmacy, since they typically use unmarked capsules, which are cheaper. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this? The green powder leads me to suspect that it is some type of supplement.
