I have severe back and hip pain, my right hip has dropped down almost a half inch causing my back bone to off center. I have tried multiple forms of treatment with no success. I have taken a variety of muscle relaxers, and none of them have worked. I am currently taking 20 mg of baclofen 3 times a day. I've been taking the muscle relaxers flexeril 10mg 2x a day and or methocarbamol 750mg 3-4x a day. Neither of them work. What is the strongest relaxer I can ask my dr for. Hi, I started taking Belviq but I have two slipped discs that cause severe muscle spasms and pain. I usually take a flexeril and it helps. I don't see it anywhere but so many drug interactions I'm scared to take it. ## There is nothing in the label to suggest that it should be a problem. But based on my own research, there are drug interactions between the prescription muscle relaxer known as Tizanidine and Hydrocodone. Apparently if you take them together it can potentiate certain side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness, and impaired cognitive abilities. However, with proper dosing and administration your doctor may be able to help you decrease these risks. I hope this helps answer your question! ## Hydrocodone and an actual muscle relaxer will potentiate each other. But, as Davis said with proper dosing instructions, the effects should be minimized.

My doctor just started me on a round of steroids. She said not to take my naproxin with it. Forgot to ask if I can take my flexerol with it. Can I do that ? ## Hello, Carol! How are you? Yes, that should be fine, as long as your doctor approves. The reason she told you to skip the Naproxen is because it and Prednisone both increased the toxicity of each other, which could result in overdose issues. I have tryed many muscle relaxers I also have panic disorder but was taken off Klonopin abruptly could valium be used to relax muscles and relieve the anxiety as well? ## Valium is used as a muscle relaxer, to prevent seizures, the treatment of anxiety and other issues. Talk to your psychistrist about takiing the valium for anxiety and your regular dr about taking it for the muscle spasms. I seriously doubt that both drs will give you a prescription for valium. Sl 433 is an old marking, they company has been purchased by Pliva and the new pills have Pliva in place of the SL, however, this tablet is Trazadone 50mgs, a generic for the antidepressant Desyrel. This is not any type of muscle relaxant, nor in any way related to muscle relaxants.
