What is a small round pill, w on one side blank on other may be M instead of W ## Hi Paula, Based on my research, a round brown/maroonish colored pill with a W on one side and blank on the other, is reportedly identified as a 95mg Azo-Standard (Phenazopyridine) tablet used for urinary tract pain and discomfort. Apparently it's available as an over-the-counter medication. For added verification, the National Drug Code for this particular tablet is listed as 009980015. After coming across an image of the pill online, I can easily understand how the W might've been mistaken for an M! Hope this info helps!

I just tasted the yellow ones with R039 on it and they didn't have a chalky taste to it but I did taste a bitter sour taste to it and they didn't dissolve quickly. So I took this med all month last month, ZONISAMIDE 100mg they were light green and white. White side said 100. Light green side said G 24. So I get them refilled today and pick them up from the pharmacy, and I notice that its a completly different pill?? Its orange and white and on the white side it has W 990!?!? My wife was prescribed potassium years ago. Does not remember mg or meq.We assume it was 10or 20 meq.She is now taking Oct potassium 99mg.How many 99mg would she take to get 10meq? There is no actual conversion for this, these 99mg over the counter potassium supplements aren't even close to the amount available in the prescription tablets.
