What Hour I Have Take Eltroxin

Is it advisable to take eltroxin same time with ferrous forte, or should there be a gap of an hour or so between the tablets. i am taking eltroxin 0.1mg, and i was found resently to have low iron and my doctor prescribed ferrous forte. my concern is to benefit from both medication and do not have one preventing the other from doing its work in me. please help. ## Actually, the Iron can cause less absorption of the Levothyroxine, so they should be taken 4 hours apart and your doctor should check your hormone levels regularly, while you are under treatment. I'm having hypothyroid so the doc prescribe me eltroxin tab..n my gastro prescribe me a nexpro tab which has to b taken together can they b taken together in the morning? ## Hello, Wanda! How are you? The Eltroxin should be taken first, at least a half an hour, before taking the Nexpro, it can be taken just before eating breakfast. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss, and weight changes. Is there anything else I can help with?

i m taking thyronorm 12.5mcg and eltroxin 25mcg for past one and half year . during this my face swell in some days and looking normal in some days. why its happen ## Hi, Ammu! i need to know if taking the medican trazondone and clarithromyc at one time is this harmfull? ## IT isn't recommended that they be taken at the same time, the Clarithromycin can increase the plasma concentrations of the Trazodone and this could result in worsening of the side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness. I am suffering from DCM, diabetes, thyroid. I am taking ivanode, cardivas 10mg, tozaar 50, for cardiac problems. For diabetes I am taking glynase and glycomet sr 500 mg twice and mebaspa since 5 months to control loose stools as side effect of metformin. Also Eltroxin 25mcg. My cardiologist has prescribed nexito plus 5mg though I have no depression. I feel extreme daytime sleepiness and sleep for at least a couple or more hours in the daytime. Also gaining weight. What possible reason could the doc have for prescribing nexito plus 5mg? Can I stop taking nexito plus 5mg? ## My post has not received any replies yet.
