Metaxolone (Skelaxin) isn't either. Carisoprodol (Soma) is the only similar agent that is currently scheduled (Sched IV). ## They are both muscle relaxants, but the Soma is the strongest that is currently available in this category. I had someone bring these up to work to me during the middle of a panic attack, THINKING they were Klonopins.
