Small round white pill with am R amd no numberssupposed to be winstrol ## A letter like that is usually just a manufacturers logo, so it can stand for whatever they are using it for, such as the company name. In some cases it could also stand for the trade name of a tablet, or the active ingredient. I have no information, however, on one with just an R on it and whether or not it is Winstrol. Where was it obtained?

I have a script that says exactly: Oxycodone 5mg gle can anyone tell me what the gle means. I take it for pain associated with severe liver problems, even though I never drank alcohol ## I've been looking into this more, since seeing your other post and I believe it stands for the manufacturer Glenmark, they were approved to start manufacturing generic Oxycodone products in March of 2010. What are the markings on the tablets?

This pill is a white round pill with the numbers 104 and other side blank. I was get Percocet with the letters Rp on it are these Percocet 5mg/325 ## Hello, DB! How are you? According to federal law in the U.S., all manufactured prescription medications must have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The imprints must be logged with the FDA and enable someone to look up the dosage and manufacturer. Thus, when you receive the same medication from your pharmacy, but it looks different or has different markings, that means it has been manufactured by a different company. The tablet with the 104 marking is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic a...

I have a script for 5mg Oxycodone with the letters gle after it's name. What does this mean? ## I am not familiar with gle as being a prescription abbreviation, of any type, I even checked the resource listings and didn't find it. Are you certain you're reading the writing correctly? It may be something like qid, which would indicate that it's to be taken four times a day. ## INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ALWAYS VERY HELPFUL & APPRECIATED. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS.SOME MEDS CAN WORK BETTER THAN OTHERS, COULD JUST BE THE MANUFACTURER.

What does the letter c indicate at the beginning of an RC number ## It may be an initial for the manufacturer, which could translate into any number of pharmaceutical companies that start with a C. Unfortunately without seeing the entire label first hand, I think all anyone can do is guesstimate what it truly stands for. Whereabouts did you get your prescription filled? CVS or Rite Aid? If you ever get an opportunity to ask the pharmacy that gave it to you, kindly post back here with any updates, so we can all figure this riddle out...

I am trying to find out what the letter "c" and the letter "n" stand for at the beginning of my rx number. Example - n123456 on my oxycodone and for my lomotil, alprazolam and loratab it looks like this Example-c123456. I know the prescriptions are all controlled but my doctor can write refills and call in my "c" prescriptions and I have to have the hard copy written in order to get my "n" prescriptions. What do these letters stand for? Are their other letters? If so what do they stand for? If all these medications are controlled what is the difference? ## As to what those letters stand for, you'd actually need to ask at your pharmacy. Such numbers aren't universal. The RX number is unique to your pharmacy, or pharmacy chain. For instance, if you ...

otc sleeping pills ## Pale orange little pill nothing on it silky smooth ## I'm afraid that in this case, at least so far, I have no guesses. Even knowing it's an over the counter product, with the basic description and letter M leaves it open to many possibilities ranging from actual medications to herbal or Ayurvedic products. I can however, add one warning, that regardless of what their source or origination, all of them are known to cause dependence in some people, which means terrible bouts of insomnia, when someone tries to stop taking them. Does anyone have any idea of what this might have been?

What mg is a large dark pink pill? ## Can anyone help me? ## Hi Hope, Would you be able to post the shape, as well as any letters / numbers / symbols imprinted on this pill ? Thanks, Roy ## There is no way to tell what this is just from the size, shape and color of the tablet. The size, shape and color mean NOTHING. IN order for us to identify it, you must post back with the imprint from the tablet.

YES!,I WANTED TO KNOW,THE PILLS R SMALLER THEN THEOXYCODONE/APAP5-325MG,THAT I USUALLY TAKE,IS THAT MEAN THAT IT WONT BE STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF MY PAIN SINCE ITS SMALL? ## The difference between them is that this one doesn't contain the added the Acetaminophen, which helps the Oxycodone work better, the one marked K18 only contains 5mgs of Oxycodone. It may help with your pain, but without the Acetaminophen it may not work as well for you, the only way to find out is to try it. And the size of pill really has nothing to do with what's in it or how well it will work. Manufacturers use many fillers and binders in their pills, so some are much larger than they have be, without containing any more active ingredients. Oxycodone may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsine...

I have BUT/ACETAMINOPHEN/CAFF 50-300-40 CP. What do the last two letters "CP" mean? Does it mean capsules? ## Hello Grace, Typically the abbreviation CP in the medical field refers to cerebral palsy but in reference to a pill itself it's fairly safe to assume that it could stand for capsule. Each company and pharmacy have their own way of labeling things so if it's truly of great concern to you simply ask your pharmacy or the manufacturer who labeled the bottle. ## The ingredients listed in your abbreviation correspond with: Butalbital 50 mg / Acetaminophen 300 mg / Caffeine 40 mg I am inclined to agree with everyone on here that the "CP" could likely stand for Capsule ... However, there is a variation of this med that also contains Codeine Phosphate 30 mg in add...

Is the marking on them possibly CDN? You should be informed, however, that it is very dangerous to try to use any tablets in this manner. They contain fillers, especially the time released medications and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. If you use them in this manne...

I have some round tablets that say watson on one side and has a P on the other side. Can you tell me what kind of pill this is. I have taken many pills in the last 6 years and these pills I put in a different bottle. So I don't know if they are pain killers or not. Please help me with this. Thanks, Mendy ## Round green pill, Watson on one side, P on the other side is actually a placebo oral contraceptive. This basically means that they are sugar pills and don't do anything (inert substance). If you don't mind me asking, were you involved in any clinical trials for birth control meds? If not, how did you manage to get these pills? Not very often I hear of somebody getting a placebo…

Yellow pill with A on one side, blank on the other. I'm allergic to aspirin and am really trying to find out what it is. Could it be ativan? ## Hi Jon, How does the letter A appear on the tablet? Is it a normal looking capital "A" or is it an embedded shape that looks like an A or a V (without the little line -)? I've come across the latter, which is also a round yellow tablet, so I just wanted to double check with you on that. Just for verification, the pill I'm describing is Zelapar 1.25 mg made by Valeant Pharmaceuticals with a National Drug Code of 00187-0453. Also, whereabouts did you get it from? If it was from a local pharmacy perhaps that would be the best place to take it for an immediate means of identification. Hope this helps!

It is a pain pill similar to ultram but stronger and is orange. ## Did you mean Nucynta, which contains the active ingredient Tapentadol? They aren't all orange, but there is one dosage that is and it is very similar to the Tramadol in Ultram, though a bit stronger and more effective at treating pain. Learn more Nucynta details here.

WHAT DOES THE LETTERS APA STAND FOR? the two articles above contradict each other. top one says...apa means amt of acetaminophen & bottom one says, that apa is the amt of hydrocodone. i came here specifically for apa info. help me with the apa on my meds. thanks g. n. ## From what I could gather, it seems like a simple misunderstanding. APA & APAP are both commonly used abbreviations of Acetaminophen. This abbreviation is often used in the following context: "APA/Hydrocodone 325mg/7.5mg" Is this what you are referring to? I would suggest double checking with your pharmacist if you believe it has an impact on the quality of your medication. However, if you know the imprint on your pill, I can even look it up for you to determine it's exact ingredients. I hope this hel...
