8 mg/day suboxone user. Urine lab test shows large amount of hydromorphone (dilaudid). Can this be from suboxone? ## What?? Heck no! Have you taken any hydromorphone? Or possibly used someone else's urine? Or maybe mix up at doc office/lab occured? Suboxone tests as Bupe and naloxone. If you know for a fact that you haven't taken anything demand a blood test or hair so they can back track to the round about time frame of your supposed hydro usage. Now my spouse was currently in the ER for a rather minor work related injury and we we're told the nurse was giving him morphine but when he was tested for Work Comp it showed all kinds of stuff. Does suboxone show up in a blood test for panel 14 or electrolyte panel or hepatic function panel 7 or lipid panel or renal function panel or cbc w different w Pitt or cholesterol or hemoglobin or prolactin or tsh 3rd generation or hcg? I am currently in treatment for opiate addiction (oxycotin). I am taking suboxone. I had to take a blood test, and had taken loritab. What will it show up as in a tox screen that is also testing for suboxone. ## How long after you took the Lortab was the test done? Lortab contains the narcotic Hydrocodone, coupled with Acetaminophen and narcotics have a fairly short detection time on blood tests, they can only usually be detected for a period of 6 to 12 hours. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been on ONLY suboxone for 3 yrs...last yr daughter had transplant w/ complications and ended up with 6 surg in 9 days and 6 months at IU hosp. what does suboxins show up as in drug screen ## In a standard drug test suboxone should not show up, unless they give you a urine test. I did find that it can stay in your system for 2 - 5 days in urine, up to 90 days in hair, up to 3 days in blood. Hope that helps! Do you have any more questions or information to add? Every time I go in to see my Dr he gives me a urine drug test. Today I went in and took my UA. It came back negative for the Suboxone. So I asked to take it again. It also came back negative for Suboxone. I am totally confused. This is the first time this has happened. So he sent me to have bloodwork. I take my Suboxone everyday. I have been running low on my pain meds the past several months. Last month I took 4 mg suboxone on Sunday and it showed up positive on urine test on Thursday. This month some of my meds were stolen and I ran out even earlier. I got dope sick and took half of an 8mg strip of suboxone. I took 2 mg one evening and another 2 mg the next morning. I have my monthly appointment at pain management clinic this Wednesday morning (15 days after the last 2 mg suboxone taken). how long does it stay in your system ## Suboxone is a long-lasting opiate, so it can take as long as a week to be completely out of your body. If you are worrying about a urine test, then the time span can be much shorter, it will not show in that for several days. It is detectable much longer for blood, tissue or hair tests. I just had my 2nd. urine test and it still shows oxycodone and methadone!!! Light lines but still there? As far as a drug screening goes it really depends on what they look for in the urine/blood sample. They can look for narcotic, illicit, and commonly abused drugs. If it is an employer looking most likely they wouldn't even check for that drug. It is not a detterent, it contains an ingredient (neutralizer) that prevents people from getting and results, such as a high or energy rush, if they take other opiates while they are taking it. Since is an opiate, that just does not have the same side effects as other opiates, it also prevents withdrawals. My doctor knows I am taking Suboxone and told me to take a blood test to check me out. My blood pressure is good but he said I have high cholesterol. Can it be possible that it's a false reading caused by the Suboxone?
