I want to find out the pharmaceutical com. That uses RDY on Zolpidem. I believed the # on the other side was 679 or769 and is oblong with a corrugation in the middle. ## Hello, Bernie! How are you? I believe you're referring to the 10mg Zolpidem tablet that has the marking RDY 479, which is manufactured by Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. The FDA classifies this medication as a sedative hypnotic that is used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, funny taste in mouth, drowsiness, sedation and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help with?

Found this pill..... capsule..... white in color, not clear.......with a tannish brown substance inside. Substance appears old??? still holds capsule shape when removed from capsule. ## Hello Leo! How are you? If there are no markings on the capsule, that means that this is most likely some type of over the counter product. All manufactured prescription medications are required to have unique markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The only exceptions to this would be something that was specially ordered by a doctor and created by a compounding pharmacy, but they usually use clear capsules, since they are the cheapest and most readily available. There is also a small chance that this could be a foreign medication. Does it have any odor? Due to the color and the wa...

Vicodin m325 & vicodine m367 mean ? ## Hello, Jc! How are you? Under current U.S. prescription drug laws, all manufactured tablets and capsules must have markings on them that enable them to be identified in case of emergency. For example, say someone is found unconscious with pills strewn around them, the paramedics would need to know what they had taken in order to provide proper treatment and they can find out, by looking at the markings on the pills and checking in the databases to see what they contained. Another example would be in case of product contamination, then the medications needs to be able to be traced back to a specific manufacturer, in order to rectify the problem and initiate a possible recall. There is no listed tablet that just has M 325 on it. However, when I l...

round white pill same size as soma but no markings ## It's a very small all white pill with no markings or lines. ## Could be for almost anything over the counter. Could be a Vitamin C or any supplement ## Hello Comments, In the United States the FDA requires that medication be identifiable by its appearance (color, imprint, size, shape etc.). This means the pill you found can be a number of things ranging from a vitamin/supplement to a foreign drug that is not regulated by the FDA. If the pill turned out to be a vitamin or supplement it would be a daunting task to identify the pill with the limited information you have due to the sheer number of brands and types available in the United States. If you are concerned about the contents of the pill I would suggest you contact your loca...

I have been taking Burpropion HCL SR 150mg for about 4 months now and I recently got my refill for the next three months. However, instead of saying "Bupropion HCL SR 150MG Tablet" It now says "G.E. Bupropion HCL SR 150MG Tablet". My pills also used to be white with a distinct chemical smell, but these new pills are purple and have a fruity smell. I just want to make sure it isn't a change in composition as I have been taking these routinely for my major depressive disorder and have seen great progress and don't want to have a regression. Thanks for any info! ## Are there any markings on them? When initials, or an abbreviation is listed, before a drug name, it usually stands for the manufacturer. Bupropion may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mo...

My friend gave me a pill white with blue dots on it is it adapack/ ## Did you mean Adipex, which contains the active ingredient Phentermine? It's used an appetite suppressant. If that's the case, are there any markings on the tablet? It is only the markings that would enable us to identify it for you. ## Yes it is, and the side effects are horrible and you gain all your weight back plus more when you stop taking them.

Tannish Round Pill, W/o Any Imprint No Marking, About 1/4 In Thick When I checked on a pill checker site, all I found was 'Chromium Oral' tablet. Any one have an idea? thanks ## The reason you're having trouble finding anything is due to the fact that there are no markings on the tablet, that makes it a bit difficult to positively identify. It can be ruled out as being a prescription medication, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. That means it is most likely an over the counter product and that does leave it open to quite a few possibilities. Learn more OTC drug details here. Where was it found? That may help to narrow it down.

I'm trying to ascertain the length of time this pill is effective. Is it immediate release or extended release? ## This tablet is manufactured by KVK Teck and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxymorphone in a regular release formulation, which means it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, after taking it. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I bought it in Nassau Bahamas. Looks like white round percocet. Line down the middle but has zero markings. Can it be right? He popped it out a blister pack but I didn't get to read it. ## Tylenol w/Codeine (#3) is avail in Bahamas w/o ?× (a local drugstore, in Nassau, for example) & have seen them come in blister pack— Use caution!! ## @MM, This really strikes me as being a counterfeit, but without a marking it could literally be anything. I just wouldn't recommend trying it until you have a proven way to verify what it actually is. This may mean that you have to send it off first to be analyzed by a lab for accuracy. Keep in mind that oxycodone is only available by prescription throughout most places in the world and all the legitimate ones tend to have an impri...

There are ablosutely no numbers on either side of the pill, which is round and pinkish. It is not an american pill, because all american pill have numbers on them. ## Actually that is incorrect, not all American pills have numbers, or markings on them. That only applies to prescription medications. Over the counter items are not requires to have any type of imprint and, even when they do, they are not required to log them with the U.S. FDA. That means this could still be something from the U.S., however, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. There are many that meet this description, not too long ago, I picked up a bottle of B12 vitamin supplements that looked like this, from my local health store. Does anyone else have any idea of what this might be? ## Yo...

Beige oblong tablet, scored, 9 and 0 on the scored side and A on the reverse. Told it was citalopram 20mg but doesn't look like the usual tablet. ## The marking is actually A 06 and the tablet does contain 20mgs of Citalopram, the active ingredient in Celexa, which is an SSRI antidepressant. Learn more Citalopram details here. Since it is a generic, that means it is manufactured by several different companies and according to law, each tablet has to have unique markings to enable its identification and there are no guidelines on how they have to look. Is there anything else I can help with?

What does 05/52 Percocet mean on the pills that were prescribed to me due to an injury? ## The FDA requires all manufacturers to use unique markings on their tablets to ensure that they can be identified, in case of emergency. For instance, if I type this marking into the database, I can quickly discover that this tablet is manufactured by Malinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Picture the following scenario... someone calls emergency services, the EMTs arrive to find an unconscious person with various unknown pills strewn about... if they can't ...

can generic Xanax 2,5 have no markings at all? These are white, correct size,, oblong oval, and have a score in middle? ## It's not likely that Xanax would have no markings; but that would probably depend on where you obtained the pill from; if you got it outside of the U.S. or by any other means besides other than a valid prescription. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that meet that description. Hope this info helps! ## Thanks very much for info. I think manufacturer is chea...

List all pills that it could possibly be. ## I couldn't possibly list all the possibilities, because the shape and color don't actually mean anything and if it has no markings, then it is not a U.S. prescription medication. While there is a slight chance that it's a foreign medication, it is more than likely an over the counter product and there are many that could fit this description. All U.S. prescription medications are required to have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. Personally, I have seen several products that meet this description, from vitamin supplements to laxatives. Was it found in the U.S.?

Is Santos-brand oxycodone a good quality medication? I have an alleged 40mg oxycodone pill from this company and I would like to know if anyone else has feedback on it. I'm in Australia. ## I'm sorry, did you mean Sandoz? In the U.S., they are considered a very reputable company. The NIH does warn that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
