I bought a pain-o-soma- from India does it have any norco pain meds in it? ## From India anything goes, it can have poison for all you know. The only prescription with Soma and a pain killer you will find from a legit source is Soma compound which has codeine in it ## Hello, Mark! How are you? The FDA lists it as containing Carisoprodol, which is a muscle relaxant. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. However, what Eddy said stands, there's no way to be sure what you've actually received. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Get tapendol instead. ## What a terrible thing to tell fellow members? ------------------------------------------------ Tapentadol is an opioid medication used to treat moderate to severe pain. Is this a norco too? ## @hayred, M367 is identified as Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (10mg); a generic for norco. For verification, the National Drug Code (NDC) is: 00406-0367 @Sue, IP 109 is also identified as Acetaminophen (325mg) + Hydrocodone bitartrate (5mg); a generic for norco. For verification, the National Drug Code (NDC) is: 53746-0109 To the original thread starter: It seems as though all three of you have generic medications with different dosages. All the "norco's" I've seen have either "Watson" or "Norco" imprinted onto the pill, along with a set of nu...

which colors are strongest to weakest? white, yellow, or peach ## The yellow and white oblong tablets imprinted with NORCO over 539 on one side and blank on the other, reportedly contain a dosage of 10/325. I think the white version might've came after the yellow one, but both seem to carry the same National Drug Code of 52544-0539. I also located a peach and/or white oblong tablet with NORCO over 729 imprinted on one side and blank on the back that reportedly contain a dosage of 7.5/325. Lastly, there's a smaller 5mg/325mg Norco tablet that's white with red specks; imprinted with WATSON on one side and 913 on the other. Hope this helps!

i am taking 2 norco a day for severe back pain my pain doc told me i can not drink any alcohol at all but i like to have 1 glass of wine before bedtime why is this a problem ## Hello, Jean! How are you? First, the alcohol can intensify the side effects of the narcotic, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than normal. Basically one drink can affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on. Second, the both can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could put you in danger due to dangerously lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have Norco M 367 and I'd like to know if they have side effects? ## Yes, it does have side effects! The same as any other narcotic! This is manufactured by mallinckrodt pharmaceuticals and have 325mgs of Acetaminophen in it, as well as 10mgs of Hydrocodone, it can cause drowsiness, a high feeling, euphoria, nausea, vomiting, constipation and addiction! ## Hi....after taking narcs for years, I'd recommend getting on one that is not married with Tylenol. Because of tolerance, which is inevitable, meds such as morphine, dilaudid, roxicodone, etc., do not contain Tylenol at all. Meds such as Norco and Percocet have to be limited in dosage because of Tylenol content. It will wreak havoc on the liver, esp. If combined with alcohol. I've been on Roxicodone for quite a few years a...

After being in a very serious Car/Truck accident half a year ago, it is time for me to get off two 10-325 NORCOs a day. I am still in pain but soon within 6 months I would have no more. Is it hard to withdraw from a small dose like this? I don't feel dependent although still taking it! ## Hello, Eddy! How are you? I'd still suggest proceeding with caution and tapering, rather than stop abruptly, since you've been taking them for quite awhile. Unless your doctor says otherwise, you can cut these tablets into smaller pieces to gradually reduce the amount you're taking. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Are these generic? ## Yes, these tablets are manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Have you taken it, yet? How well is it working for you? ## I got my norco 10/325 filled and they look different. Oblong with scoreline one side is R P other side is H10 325 what's up? ??? ## Don't take those! I've been on Norco 7.5/325 since they stopped making Vicodin. I had the yellow, loved them, then my pharmacy only had the white ones from Qualitest. My last refill was with mallinckro, hate them! I itch and stay in pain 24/7. My pharmacist said they will no longer be able to get the qualitest, now I'm stuck as to where to go. I hate calling pharmacies for certain brands since they think I'm a druggie..when I clearly take no more and often less than required. ## I am very sorry about the problems you're experiencing. Unfortunately, there is no database that lists which medication any given pharmacy carries, at any given time, because such information is dynamic and can always change, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price, at the time they needed ...

Norco is the brand name by Watson for 10mg Hydrocodone and 325mg of acetaminophen, they also make the generic. Norco is yellow in color and caplet shaped.Originally it was only 10mg, now it's 7.5 and 5, hydrocodone and the same Tylenol in all. Has no codiene in it. Hydrocodone is a semi synthetic drug, a ketone of codeine and is 8 times stronger than codiene, mg to mg.has a more sedative effect and has a half life of 3.8 hrs compared to codiene's 2.5 hrs. ## I've been taking Norco, 10-325, for over fifteen years on an occasional basis because of back pain due to auto accidents, surgeries. I take the same ammount now as fifteen years ago. I alternate between Norco, and Tylenol - also on an occasional basis, so I don't develop a tolerance to N. and have to increase the dos...

Taking generic brand of Norco 5-325. Had surgery on foot for bone spur. Works ok when awake. have a little pain at the surgery site. But after 60-90 minutes of sleep I wake up in lots of pain. Once I wake up and move around a little the pain goes away. Sleeping and awake I elevate my foot. So is the painkiller working at all? ## Hello, Liz! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. Do you think it's possible that you're having nighttime foot cramps? Or possibly moving that foot and flexing it a lot, as you enter deep sleep? Since you're not having severe pain at other times, you may be experiencing breakthrough pain, at night, that goes beyond what the Norco can control. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it ...

Norco Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone

Hydrocodone/paracetamol (also known as hydrocodone/acetaminophen) is the combination of the pain medications hydrocodone and paracetamol (acetaminophen).[1] It is used to treat moderate to severe pain.[1][2] It is taken orally. [1] Recreational use is common in the United States.[3][4] Common side effects include dizziness, sleepiness, constipation, and vomiting.[1][2&#9...

its white it says m367on one side on the other side it has a line in the middle like u could snap it in half and its suppose to be 10-325 norco. never seen this ## Yes, this contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the generic for Norco. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I snap them in half to control the nausea and pain, but it also keeps my head in check. These are very dangerous as 367 are real s***. how much does it cost for a script of 120 10/325 norcos without insurance? ## 100.00 for180 generic ## @chevy, To my understanding, the price is going to be somewhat different depending on your location, whether or not you use any discount cards or have a specific type of insurance that help you pay for your medication, etc. From what I could gather, most pharmacies in my location charge anywhere from $260 to $275 for a script of 120 (10mg/325mg) Norco brand tablets. The generics are of course much cheaper, and reflect less than a quarter of that price for 120 tablets. But I'd imagine the price will be different in other locations. I hope this helps!

I'm looking for the pharmacy that carries 10/325 norcos made by Qualitest the yellow ones I live in Ontario Ca 91761 ## Hello, Oswald! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of pharmacies according to what medications from which manufacture they have in stock that I can refer to for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you tried asking your regular pharmacy if they can order them in for you?

If possible coupons for norcos would be great. I get scripts for them always for sever back pain. Thank you ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? I'm sorry, but there are currently no programs available for this medication, since it is available as a generic. Generics are cheaper by their very nature. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, this website does have an RX discount card that you can print which might save you some money. It is free to sign up for, you just enter your name and email, then print the card. You can find the link on the page, usually in the right hand column. Is there anything else I can help with?

I need 180 norco 10/325 a month to take for pain. How much does it cost to fill this prescription? ## I think the price depends on where you live? I saw one person got them for 33 cents. My Insurance covers mine. But there is a $1 charge on all the medication so $8. But the Pharmacist is so good that I would pay $5 prescription. The year I did hormone treatment for IVF I am male, it was over $35,000 thank goodness for insurance. ## Hi Regina, I think Jose is right about the price varying based on location. Not only that but the quality/presence of an insurance plan, the use of pharmacy coupons, patient assistance programs, etc, can all make a significant (night and day) difference in how much you pay. That said, if you are looking to save money and don't have insurance, MedsChat off...

What color is a non generic norco 10 mg and who is original manufacture. ( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in...
