at first glance it looks like a valium 10, small blue round, one side has watson 407, the other side nothing, does not have a 1/2 line for splitting in half. ## Based on the description provided, I found Watson 407 to be Lisinopril (10 mg). Lisinopril is used to control and lower high blood pressure. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... I've been taking Lisinop/HCTZ tab 20-25 MG for a while now, it is a small pink round pill with 803 on one side and 77 on the other side. My Dr says it's for high blood pressure but my ins. co has it listed as Oral Diabetes med, I've never been diag. with Diabetes, is this the right med for my high blood pressure? ## Yes, Lisinopril with Hydrochlorothiazide is a medication that's used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Learn more Lisinopril details here. Learn more Hydrochlorothiazide details here. It is not an oral diabetes medication, your insurance company may just have it listed wrong. Are there any other comments or questions?

G2 H2 Pinkish ## If you would like more info on Lisinopril you can look here ## This drug really works! ## Hey, I am on 5mg. I got sick and my Dr said not to take them unless needed cause it was dropping. I have been taking it for the past few days cause it goes up every other day and it helped me but today it's 140/98. ## Lisinopril is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure, and certain cardiac conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hypotension, and increased urination. Glenda, that is a very unusual way of taking it. How low was it dropping? Are you on any other medications?

side effects of 25mg ## Lisinopril is used to lower and control high blood pressure. The side effects of high blood pressure medication aren't nearly as threatful as hypertension itself. I am not an MD, so I cannot say how 25 mg of Lisinopril will affect you. I do suggest though, that you take a look at the following link for a more descriptive explanation on Lisinopril... The most common side effects associated with Lisinopril and most other high blood pressure medications are as follows: Dizziness, lightheadedness, fatigue, fever or chills, difficulty swallowing, difficulty breathing, fast or uneven heart beat, palpitations, chest pain, numbness or tingling in your fingers or toesdecreased amount of urine, skin rash, itching, change in taste, cough, swelling of your face / lips / ...

I've been using the lisinopril 10 mg by Sandoz for quite some time now and in February 2016, I refilled my prescription and surprise to see a round sd hoped pill instead of the Oval that I used to get so I took it back to the pharmacy and the assured me that the pill was by Sandoz and that they changed the shape from oval to round. ## Hi Dio, Thanks for the heads up on the pill change. It's unfortunate that pharmacies have to make this a surprise for us at every refill. I was just looking up some information on these round lisinopril tablets by Sandoz and am not sure if I found the correct imprint, but I believe their 10mg is marked with "E 101" and carries the following National Drug Code: 00185-0101. Interesting that they would choose to change pill shapes. And I doubt...

I have oval peach/pink lisinopril with the number 101 and what looks like the letter Get on them, I would like to know what dosage they are. ## Hi Sheila, From the Lisinopril images online, I'm seeing an oval peach/pinkish tablet with a strange looking italicized "E" sitting to the left of "101" imprinted on one side of the pill and blank on the other. Is this what you're describing as well? If so, it's reported to be a 10mg Lisinopril tablet, manufactured by Sandoz. I hope this helps! Please post back though if you believe it to be something else.

Hello, I was prescribed Belviq by my PCP. I am excited and scared to take this medication all in one. I am about to take my first pill here shortly. I ate a little breakfast to make sure I won't get nauseated. But again, I am looking forward and hoping that I don't have any of those nasty side effects. ## Hello, Tony! How are you? Did you experience any issues, or problems? The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including anxiety, headache, chest pain, increased hunger, and back pain. Are these the only medications you are currently taking?

I have been on Lisinopril for 6 months. I told my doctor I am allergic as I broke out in a serious rash. A dermotologist gave me Bethamensone to put on rash and I broke out in a chronic rash. A new dermotologist gave me Cephelexin and Muroprocin (both ate me alive). I then was placed on Prednisone (30 pills). I feel better but notice that I still have spots of rashes here and there. I'm looking for a new HBP medicine. I was suggested Benicar. Any help? ## After being on Lisinopril for 4 months I had enough. The coughing and sharp pain in my head no more. Its not worth taking a med that makes you feel so bad there are other meds to take in replacement of Lisinopril. ## Unfortunately, coughing and headaches are normal side effects of most blood pressure medications. It will be a matte...

low pulse, irregular heart beat ## I take both Lisinopril (10 mg daily) and Metoprolol (50 mg daily. 1/2 AM & 1/2 PM) These pills look a lot alike and it is possible to get them mixed up if not cautious. I did this about three times in a row last week. OOPS. But I'm still here and don't feel any side effects. I will be more careful in the future. Just thought I'd post this. ## i switched my metoprolol by mylan and my lisinopril by mylan to metoprolol by greenstone and my lisinopril by sandoz because it was cheaper but it sent me to the hospital. once arriving at the hospital they took my blood and said that i had a heart attack.. it was scary because i didnt feel right at all after i started takeing the generic forms. now im paying more for mylan but i feel as good as i ...

I am currently taking Lisinopril 10MG and my arthritis has really been acting up. I use to take Meloxicam 15mg but doing some reading it suggests the two are not good to take in combination... Any suggestions? Been taking Ibuprofen 800 but this is just a temp fix as the pain is still in my knees and feet. ## Hi fazer, Sorry to hear about your challenges with arthritis. I also looked up the drug interaction you're referring to between Lisinopril + Meloxicam and would agree that unless you're under frequent medical supervision, it's probably wise to not risk it. The University of Maryland Medical Center (drug interaction tool / umm.edu) describes this drug combination as causing blood pressure or kidney problems. On the other hand, they also go on to state that, "If you ar...

my pharmacists gave me to different types of pills for 40mg lisinopril the new one has w942 on it it looks rose colored i guess is this right i cant find anything on it ## Yes, this tablet does contain 40mgs of Lisinopril, an ACE inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. This tablet is manufactured by Wockhardt USA. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. More details: Are there any other questions? ## My wife gets dizzy from the Wockhardt Lisinopril, whereas she did not from the Teva Lisinopril, all 10mg. Is this common to others? Or just an unusual reaction particular to her? I started taking lisinopril a couple of years ago. I never really got the cough. However I got acid reflux that was debilitating. I was prescribed pantoprazole for that. I hate the long term side effects and was looking for an alternative - and wondering how I suddenly got reflux. I stopped the pantoprazole two weeks ago and am coping with apple cider vinegar. After some research it seems that lisinopril can cause stomach issues. So I stopped that yesterday and am drinking hibiscus tea instead. Has anyone else had acid reflux disease as a result of lisinopril? ## Hello, Gerdie! How are you doing? Most prescription medications can cause acidity issues as a side effect, according to the FDA. They can often be mitigated by making sure to take them with food, or by taking an antacid with th...

Did TEVA have to recall their Lisinopril tablets peach COLORED, ROUND, imprinted with E104 in 2018? Also I had a side effect of not being able to wake up in the morning, even with the use of my Adderall, I'd still go back to sleep! Now taking amlodipine but it's not helping my BP. Any help is appreciated! ## Have you tried Nifedipine? Works very well for me, after years of trying other medications. ## Thx for your idea. I will read about that med. Now I'll have knowledge about the med you suggested when I see my doc next visit. That's 3 HBP meds down, and a zillion more to be a guinea pig for. UGH!! ## Hello Tae, According to the FDA drug recall website Teva has only recalled their Valsartan and Valsartan Hydrochlorothiazide tablets this year. If you ever need to look up...

Just learned that the chronic cough I've had for two years might be caused by this med. What would be the alternative Rx? ## Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Lisinopril. I personally used to have severe hypertension for a number of years, but was able to control it by controlling more of my eating habits and exercising. What works for me may not work for everyone, but my initial advice is to look into natural ways (before prescription alternatives) such as: Low/no sodium foods to help reduce inflammation and water retention, supplementation of garlic, as well as having a diet that is rich in potassium and magnesium. Other dietary and non dietary options for lowering blood pressure can include (but are not limited to): L-Theanine Magnesium Glycinate Coenzyme Q10 Garlic Ha...

Can this medication make your red blood cell count high? ## Lisinopril is what I'm on. I had to look up the side effects since I'm sensitive to medication. It's an ACE inhibitor. It can make you dizzy, headaches, increase your potassium levels (WebMD says don't take a potassium supplement if you're taking Lisinopril.) You can have abnormally low blood pressure, decreased blood platelets, decreased function of the bone marrow. Decreased neutrophils (a type of white blood cell), deficiency of granulocytes - a type of white blood cell. I'd suggest doing a Google search to see what you can find. I've noticed you can't find the information you need all in one place. Good luck! ## No, that is not listed as known side effects. In addition to what Nikki has alrea...

Can I take both of these together? The doctor gave me the lisinopril 10 mg to start taking. I was taking OTC fastin ( phenylethylamine hci) as a weight loss pill. Please advise ## Hello, Caroline! How are you? Did you tell your doctor that you were taking the Phenylethylamine? It is a stimulant, so it may cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate and if you do have high blood pressure, then no, it is not safe for you to take it. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor that's used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure, its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. ## SWIM told me that Phenylethylamine HCL (PEA) that looks like shavings of something white is good for pain. Then I heard it may be bath salts and people take it to feel high. What is it for...

I am trying to find the manufacturer of this blue variety ( blue pill slightly larger than an M&M candy ) of the Lisinopril/HCTZ 20-25. I did not have the persistent cough I get, from the peach colored smaller variety (manufacturer unknown). Are you able to help? ## I am sorry, but the color doesn't actually tell us anything. However, if you can post back with the imprint from the blue tablet, I will gladly look it up and tell you the manufacturer. Can you please post back with this information?

My doctor took me off Lisinopril 10 MG Tab and put me on Losartan 50-12.5MG Tab because my potassium was too high. Looking at the containers each came in, I see that they both have potassium in them. How is it helping to switch me from one to the other except that the Losartan costs more? I have not been able to find out how much potassium is in each drug. ## These medications don't actually contain potassium, the listing as Losartan Potassium, just designates the precise chemical salt that the drug is derived from, not that it contains potassium in the actual sense. That said, the reason he switched you the Losartan 50-12.5mg is because the second ingredient is Hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic that helps remove excess fluid from the body. By doing so, it also helps lower el...
